"Surprisingly terrible. Juan was the nicest guy during consultation which is why we ended up going with the Grout Medic. But after we got started, he was unhinged rude & angry over the phone and passive aggressive & unprofessional over email. It was quite surprising. Regarding the work done, it was done by one guy for 2 days to replace some of grout & reseal in the bathroom. The bathroom floor grout was done in a wrong color, and it was done with poor quality. Some areas were thicker than others and you can see brush marks. Some joints that should have been done were missed as were some areas where the old grout clearly was still there as there were patches of yellow & grey. When I notified Juan of these, there was no acknowledgment or apology that the work was not done correctly, rather he was just passive aggressive and emailing as if he was texting. There was some painful back and forth. The technician was sent to fix & complete areas that were not fully done. Not worth the hassle."

"The owners Arthur & Mark and their associate was very considerate and professional in protecting my wood floor, area rugs and belongings before cleaning my carpets. They explained their cleaning method before starting and took extra care of my belongings when moving them out of the room. They checked the fabric's manufacturer's cleaning label before cleaning my chair to see what they recommend. That helped them know to dry clean the chair instead of steam cleaning it. They explained their cleaning process and they did a fantastic job! They removed all the stains and my carpets look like new again. I found them to be very pleasant to talk to and have in my home. I like that they have many years of experience and it showed. I would definitely recommend them and use them again. I give them a 5 star rating."

"My granite cracked in front of my kitchen sink and around the basin had crumbled from pot dings-it's porous.. Outside of that, I still loved the stone and wanted keep it. My goal became putting in a farmhouse sink to fit my existing cabinet and plumbing... I called the original company, and they offered 3 choices. A crack repair with a short term warranty/ removal and refab for the new sink (almost what I originally paid for the granite) or a full rip and replace with new granite (yikes). I looked around, and was lucky enough to find Brian. He called and scheduled a visit. Our conversation left me confident to move forward. I ordered what I needed, removed the sink, marked the cut lines, and within days Brian arrived to cutout for my farmhouse sink. Whole thing was done in less than1/2 day. After he left, I realized I was off by 1/2 inch and I needed him to return. He came back the very next day. He was knowledgable, resonable, neat and respectful of my home. Hire him."

"Initially, things went great. They were responsive on the phone and had all the paperwork my building required to start the work. There was some initial discrepancy in the scope of work but I take some of the responsibility for that since I wasn't double checking the exact wording on their estimate which was different from what we discussed in person and over the phone. Also, I never saw the main contractor I initially spoke at my job site. He should've been there to monitor the work and check in with me to see if the work was looking close to what I asked for. I told them from the start what I wanted and even showed them pictures of exactly what I was going for, the results were far different. They seemed to cut corners and take no pride in the work they completed. The bathroom work they did was so bad I now have to completely redo it. There are huge gouges in the floor. Throughout the apartment, the stain essentially looks like a bad uneven paint job. They even got it all over the baseboards. They clearly did not polish the floors enough because its rough everywhere. I paid over $10k for floors that look ugly and now there is nothing to do but cover them up with area rugs. Also, some of my personal supplies were missing but they did compensate me for it. UPDATE: After discussing my dissatisfaction with the results, NYC Stone care did try and figure out a way to make up for it and I appreciate their handling of the matter."
