"This was a complete and positive experience in dealing with a contractor. Contacted JJs Roofing through the list along with 2 other companies. Had email and phone contact with the principals of each company and arranged for persons to come to the site to evaluate the project and make accurate measurements for a more detailed proposal. Within the same day of making the evaluations, I received 2 competitive bids to do the job. The third competitive bid was submitted sometime later after I committed to JJs and had the work completed! The scope of work was similar in all aspects and there was only a slight difference in the price. To their advantage, JJs proposed to do the job in 3 days while the other bids proposed 5 or 6 days. Because this is winter and the weather plays a huge factor in the roofing business, I opted for the 3-day make over where nice weather was predicted. In dealing with JJs owner John Johnston, he was helpful and extremely accommodating. He was mindful of my own circumstances of having to travel from out of town to be present during the project's work days. I was extremely grateful for this consideration. Once I accepted the JJs bid, a crew was sent back to the job site to remeasure for the replacements skylight and the access door. These are custom items so it is important to be accurate. The day of the job, JJs sent a crew led by Hector Ramos who along with another worker had done the preliminary evaluation. The men went about the job with speed, efficiency and care. The unusual break in the weather was great incentive for the men to work. After the first day, the old roof was torn off and general repairs to the underlying structure was begun and completed. The roof was covered with a tarp for the night. Day two, the men showed up promptly and continued their work. When I ventured to the roof top, Hector took the time to explain in great detail the entire process and timetable for the work. Because there where other elements involved beyond just laying down a new roof, I appreciated his explanations. I had a skylight replaced, a new roof access door installed, the relocation of the main drain and installation of a down spout, and the replacements of vent caps. The entire crew were courteous and extremely professional. By the end of the second day, I was sure I had made the right decision in choosing JJs. The final day and Hector assured me they would be finished on time and before the expected rains would come. I glanced at their progress throughout the day and saw the work completed on time. The men were extremely careful to clean everywhere debris landed in or around the work area on top and on the ground. When they left, the entire area was spotless! It was great having the highly skilled professionals from JJs Roofing working on this project. It is with high confidence that I recommend JJs Roofing for your roofing needs. They deliver in quality, craftsmanship, and service. It was a pleasure doing business with this company."

"ANB construction replaced my roof in late September and put in new gutters. Rosa & crew was easy to reach and we were able to get the arrangements done very effectively and efficiently. Solid work, crew was very experienced and got the job done quickly. The new roof and gutters look great and are holding up well to rain and snow. Would highly recommend you to give them a call! "This was a large job which required removal of the old roof - multiple layers of asphalt shingle and cedar shake down to rafters. The house is a large old Victorian with multiple angles and outcroppings, and very steep. There was also a one car garage. As promised, Royal arrived on day 1 - a Monday in 12 degree weather - with 3 dump trucks, several other trucks with men and equipment and over 30 workers. They swarmed over the house and by 10 AM the roof was stripped to the rafters and by the end of the day new plywood, underlayment and shingles had been installed on more than 3/4 of the roof. All work was completed in 4 days. Every night the property was thoroughly cleaned up. Progress was provided during the entire job by sending photos taken with a drone - terrific! Overall we were impressed and pleased with the work and the fact that it truly took 4 days. We had seen other jobs in the neighborhood take 3 weeks or more to complete. You pay for this kind of service - it is not cheap - but it is totally worth it. In addition, all of the workers and the project managers are very professional and attentive to your needs. I'll never have to use them again for this job, but I would recommend them in a heartbeat if you need a roof, gutters etc."

"Bob Laurendi and his Vandelay Roofing team are an absolute pleasure to deal with.  They were very responsive to my inquiry regarding my roofing needs, coming over and inspecting the existing roof within three (3) days of my first telephone call.  At that time, Bob explained the various options I should consider in installing a new (flat) roofing system, including cost variances and environmental considerations.  When I made my decision regarding the system I wanted, Bob told me he would have a formal quote to me within the week.
Less than a week later, Bob sent over his proposal and simple contract; I made one or two revisions to the specifications, which he readily accepted, and we scheduled the work for two or three weeks later.  Right on time, he and his crew called and advised me of their intent to start work the following day.  They worked over two (2) days, removing the old roofing system, repairing the wood sheathing where necessary, and installing the new TPO roofing system I had decided upon.  They worked quickly, efficiently, and cleanly, photographing every aspect of their work for my review.

"Replacing a roof is a big undertaking, and comes at a big price. We were stressed about having to replace ours, and Mike at Roofmaster really, really put us at ease. It's important to mention that we'd met with other roofers and even contracted with one, but they ghosted us and blew off the project all together. When Mike came to first meet with us, he was friendly and cordial but super-direct and straight with us. He explained everything that would go into our project. He made everything so clear that instead of dread we began to be excited to have our roof replaced. Not only the roof, but they were replacing our (inappropriately small) gutters and replacing the skylights in our kids' rooms. All of this was going on, by the way, while we were having major service performed on our split A/C system, including temporarily relocating the condenser from the roof while Mike's team was working. The day work was to begin, Mike and his assistant got everything staged and ready to go. Mike also met with the A/C team to coordinate their work, which we really appreciated. The next day, a team of 7 guys were here precisely on time and attacked the work. In two days, the entire roof was done and it's brilliant. We've had a couple terrific storms since then and the thing appears to be bullet-proof. Throughout it all, Mike's team was courteous and professional and Mike checked in with us and kept us up to date on the work. I heartily recommend Roofmaster. "Son of owner, John Plotke, made the service call. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable.  Was very impressed with his use of a remote controlled drone aircraft to visually inspect my roof without having to actually climb on the roof.  He did use a ladder to replace a damaged tile.  Based on my conversation with him, I think this company would be competent to handle just about any roofing challenge, residential or commercial.
