"Don and Noah did a fantastic job. They were less expensive than the other estimates I got. They also cut the granite top and installed it in just two weeks. Other fabricators told me it would be 5-6 weeks. They cut the counter top without a seam. Again, the other fabricators told me a seam would be necessary near the sink. They were quick, neat, professional and the counters are Beautiful. Give these guys a call, you won't be disappointed. Kitchen not complete yet but their work is and what a nice job"

"I chose the company because it was one stop shopping. The sales person was helpful and knowledgeable. The entire process from selecting the stone, the in-house measurement and the install was done in a professional manner. The counter upgrade has made a difference. A NICE company to do business with and I would select them again."

"I just want to compliment Dave and his crew on a wonderful job. The craftsmanship is outstanding. <br /> I was pleased when I first got the very reasonable estimate and read great reviews from Angies List and Dorado Soapstone. <br /> This is a very, very old house and they needed to spend an extra day here, travelling from Rhode Island because the kitchen sink cabinet needed to be completely rebuilt to accommodate the heavy stone sink and the cabinets needed a little shoring up. <br /> Having had some very expensive extras with contractors before this, I was expecting a possible whammy...none came. I actually had to ask for the bill before they left. Dave explained every charge which came to less than $300.00, way, way less than I expected. <br /> I had a small issue with the sprayer leaking, Dave came right out and fixed it. He even went down cellar and turned off my <br /> outside spigot for me...good thing because it would have frozen in this weather. <br /> My counters are beautiful and I would hire these guys again in a minute! <br /> <br /> <br />"

"THEY WERE PUNCTUAL AND THEY WERE COURTEOUS. WE GOT TO PICK OUT OUR OWN STONE. THEY WERE PATIENT WITH ME, IT TOOK ME SOME TIME TO PICK OUT WHAT I WANTED. THEY DID A REALLY GOOD JOB OF BRINGING IN THE GRANITE WITHOUT SCRATCHING THE CEILING OR WALLS."

"Excellent work! Amet is professional, precise, prompt, friendly and trustworthy. He did a high quality job and the price was reasonable. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We visited his shop in late October. He was here measuring within a week and installation took place before Thanksgiving. My kitchen is absolutely beautiful and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. I would absolutely do business with Amet again and I will definitely recommend United Granite and Marble whenever I can! Thank you!"

"The job went very well. He came and put in new tile and gave what seemed like a reasonable estimate. He was repairing someone else's shoddy work and handed it well. He did all the work in one day, or maybe two, he did it quickly. He did a good job considering the circumstances. He was really straight forward and reliable. He did what he said he was going to do. He actually did more than we asked. He put down the floor and there were some crooked tiles and gaps that he made right and it was more than we had originally asked of him."

"My wife and I wanted new hard woods in our house but had very specific requirements that we could not typically find locally.  My wife wanted a dark floor while I wanted extreme durability in a natural hard wood.  We did our homework and decided that Brazilian Walnut (Ipe) most closely matched what we wanted.  <br /> After looking locally for something that fit the bill, the flooring we found was either over $12 sq/ft (too expensive) or not dark enough.  I started searching on-line and ran across Brazilian Direct.  Their prices seemed reasonable (a bit over $6 sq/ft for what we wanted) and they even had a tinted (dark) version of the floor we liked. <br /> After several weeks of questions and further research, we decided to place an order.  We we worked with a representative named Sannon who helped us every step of the way.  She sent us samples, instructions, guides - everything to make us more comfortable about our eventual order.  Our order came right on schedule and the wood was really beautiful.  After several weeks of the required acclimation we had a local installer put the floor down.  They did an excellent job and we really love our floor.  There was very little waste and in fact we had at least 3 boxes left over. <br /> I highly recommend Brazilian Direct.  We are considering using them again for a deck project we'd like to do in the future. <br />"

"Greg is awesome.  He is tenacious and pays super attention to detail.  He takes great pride in his work and it shows.  He's a true mason.   <br /> My project was a special case. We had a lot of masonry issues.  With our chimney, once we got into the thick of things, Greg discovered issues with the flashing and roof, and this expanded the scope of the original quote.  On realizing how good Greg is, I also added other tasks, such as replacing our flagstone sidewalk-- which wasn't on the original quote.   <br /> So my final bill was higher that the initial estimate.  But a lot of that was my own doing with adding to tasks, and a lot of it was attributable to the unknowns of working on and old house.  <br /> We still get positive comments 2 years later on the chimney from neighbors and passers by.  Since Greg performed the work, there have been no issues, and Greg said that he would come by to address any minor issues that came up.   <br /> The work turned out more expensive than we had originally thought, but totally worth it and I would do it again.  The work took a while to complete as well.  We weren't time-pinched, so it didn't matter to me.  The quality of the work is well worth the time.  So, if you can get on Greg's schedule: Do it. <br />"
