"I am VERY late in writing this review, but as I was in the Angies List site I thought I'd put this review in. I can't say enough good things about Vaillancourt Roofing. I had a leak in my roof, winter was coming on and no other roofer would call me back. As an act of humanity Adam and Dave drove down from NH to look at my roof even though they don't do repairs in my area - Carlisle, MA ( I understand they could possibly do roof replacement in my area). They came when they said they would and they found the leak quickly. The leak was from my chimney. They aren't mason's necessarily, but they put a temporary fix to the chimney, so I could rest easy until the next Spring when I could address it. They didn't charge me and were done in about an hour. I wish my roof itself needed replacement, if it did I'd all them in an instant. Just wanted to put in this review as I owe it to these great folks."

"the reason i got a metal roof if because i am an old lady and had been going up on the porch roof to shovel it. i figured that with a metal roof that the snow would slide off the roof as they advertise, well it doesn't slide off the back porch so i have to shovel it. scary"

"The experience was very stressful. The siding crew was very rough on our 1774 home. They damaged portions of the trim, a window, and the metal roof. I had to constantly monitor the crew to make sure they minimized damage and completed the work correctly. It was difficult communicating with the Spanish-speaking crew. Materials are in my yard that still have not been picked up 2 weeks later. The finished siding looks good, but that is the best complement I can make. I had doors replaced by Power on a previous job and was very satisfied. I would be cautious recommending Power for siding replacement on a similar old house."

"Derek showed up on time, and after inspecting my roof ( which is only 6 years old ), advised me there was no need to replace the roof as a previous contractor from the day before told me I need'ed. Which was estimated at $ 8500.00. Since I'm a DYI type of guy he explained what was happening on my roof and how I could fix it myself. Which should save me I figure $8400.00 So I just want to thank Derek Cook for being a man with integrity and not being Greedy and selling me something I didn't need ! Thank You Derek Cook !"
