"We hired this company to power wash the siding, repair and repaint stucco. Angel and his team did an excellent job. Angel worked within my budget as I am a disable veteran. He was always communicating with my wife and me throughout the project. He even gave extra tips on other areas that need repairs in future. We highly recommend this company and look forward to working with them again soon."

Customers say: Terrific value

"Edgar and his team did an excellent job replacing all my wood siding with stucco and replacing rotted wood sheathing, where needed. It was a very large job and they did a great job transforming the exterior of my home. Edgar was honest and reliable and cared about the quality of his work. You can't ask much more than that."

"The work was done quickly and effectively with a level of professionalism that was more than satisfactory. Would recommend to anyone that needs any sort of masonry work done. I had them re-point brick on the interior of my house and when they were completed, it was as if no one was even there. Again, I cannot speak highly enough for this business and the work that they do."

"My husband and I contracted Highrize Construction Group (Enea Shira) to remove the old vinyl siding from our house and replace it with White Stucco. We also replaced the roof, facia and gutters. It was a huge job which was a bit intimidating to us as first time homeowners. Enea met with us quite a few times before we booked his company. I called and texted him multiple times throughout the project and he always made himself available and he was on site every day which was a huge comfort. We now have the best looking house on the block. I highly recommend Highrize Construction. Enea is honest, extremely professional and very well versed regarding his field of expertise."

"Did a great job. I was having a problem with water backing into my house from an ice dam on my back gutter. Flavio came out that day and gave me an estimate and completed the job the next day. It looks like it never snowed back there. I would definitely recommend him for any job. I plan to call him in the spring for some projects,"

"My landlord did not want to clean my gutters and during this rainy season a lot of garbage accumulated. I searched on my own for someone who could clean my gutters regardless of the bad weather and the time. I am satisfied with the work and the staff. I highly recommend them."

"Jerry and his crew were professional and courteous. Power washed and sanded the trim to prep. They replaced several areas of trim and soffet that had rotted, matched it up to the existing good wood and with bondo, sanding, priming and painting, it all came out looking great. I thank them for a job well done."

FAQs for traditional stucco repair or partially replace projects in New City, NY

Minor stucco fixes—like sealing small cracks or adding fresh caulk—often wrap up in an hour or two. Larger jobs that call for cutting out damaged sections, installing new lath, and layering fresh stucco can stretch to three or four days because each coat needs time to cure. A pro removes loose material, cleans and dampens the area, applies a bonding agent, and builds up new layers, matching texture and restoring the wall’s weather shield.

Watch for a stucco surface that stays damp days after a storm, develops dark stains, or feels soft or spongy under light pressure. Inside, moisture rings, peeling paint, or soft drywall around windows point to the same issue. Any of these red flags mean water is trapped behind the siding, and it’s time to call a stucco pro before rot or mold sets in.

Give your stucco a once-over every spring and fall. Semiannual checks let you catch hairline cracks, stains, or damp spots before they snowball into pricey repairs. Keep a flashlight handy, look closely around windows and doors, and call a pro if you notice anything soft or discolored. Staying ahead of minor issues protects both your curb appeal and your home’s weather barrier.

A pro starts by scraping away loose material, then cleans and lightly wets the area so new stucco will stick. After brushing on a bonding agent, they build fresh layers, letting each coat cure before adding the next. The final step is matching the texture and color so the patch blends in and the wall regains full weather protection.

Think of repair as a patch: the pro fixes only the visible crack or hole. Remediation goes deeper—crews strip away the compromised stucco, correct the root problem (often water or mold), then rebuild the wall. If tests show structural rot or trapped moisture, remediation is the safer, longer-lasting route; otherwise, a straightforward repair often does the trick.
