I recently moved from the state of Florida to Indiana in 2024, I've been doing masonry work for a little over 6 years now and the previous work I did before that I was a carpenter for 8 years a roofer for 6 years you can say I am a jack of all trades I love the work that I do and I'm hoping I will have the opportunity to work with some you lovely people of Indiana. "I called to see if septic could be pumped soon as I had experienced a blockage and while it was again flowing, I knew it had not been pumped in 10+ years.  Cold weather had just hit with predictions of snow.  We tentatively scheduled for between 11 & 2:00 the next day (weather permitting).   Next morning I missed their initial call at 10:30 and was afraid they would not show, but at just a little after 11:00 they were here!  Hooked up in just a minute  (I have easy access and knew where the lid was). The sludge was thicker than it should have been, but their pump was able to handle it and we were finished in 15 minutes or so (normally an 8 minute pump per Knox).  We had agreed on a price of $195 beforehand on the phone (1st 1000), but I was afraid it would be higher due to thickness.  We talked about the system, etc., past experiences with the septic.  As an invoice was written I asked how much to make payment for and was told it would be $185 with the Angie's list discount.  It was very cold out and I asked the guy to come in out of the cold, but he politely refused saying he was dirty.  I knew about the Angie's list discount but did NOT mention it to them, though in conversing outside I did mention joining so as to get reviews.  To their credit, they gave me the discount.  Not much, but appreciated, none the less.  Sometimes you just can't beat an honest  'mom & pop' business.
