"A&S Services Duct Cleaning serviced and cleaned 2 gas dryers for my family. They brought a full crew in with equipment and spent over an hour completely cleaning out the dryer, replacing ductwork that was dry-rotted, (unseen to us) and performed a host of other maintenance and repair duties for a very reasonable price. We had NO idea the amount of lint that was built up and the extreme hazard of a fire in our homes. They are 2 professional brothers who learned this business from generations passed down and they know what theyâ re doing. This experience with RH & MS was an extremely positive experience. I hired them to renovate my home after Barry flooded the total ground floor of my 1200 sq. foot home. Several HomeAdvisor contractors gave me quotes on the job. RH & MS was not the lowest, but, the attention to detail in the initial walk thru separated them from the other contractors. They quickly worked to totally gut the house and re-mediate the floors, wall and insulation to prevent the growth of mold. They did an excellent job of replacing sheet rock, insulation, and painting. I was impressed by how the punctual and friendly crew cleaned up after every work day. Mike said it would take about three months and they finished one week shy of three months. "We contacted several companies to learn how they clean the duct system and the cost. Ah-Choo was the most expensive but after speaking to other companies, they appeared to be the most qualified. They came out for an estimate promptly and explained exactly what they would do. They have a 3 step process where the other two companies had a one step process. One company did not even come out.....he gave me a quote on the phone and indicated that they would clean the ducts for $795 but would not clean the air vents in the ceiling. I was disturbed by this and did not even give them any real consideration.
Although Ah-Choo is twice as expensive as the other two companies, but my husband and I felt we were going to get a thorough cleaning. We have owned our house for 11 years with our house being a total of 30 years old. We had never had the ducts cleaned. So a very good cleaning was what we were looking for. We believe we got exactly that. It was worth the extra cost.
