"Every home owner eventually needs (or will need) a new roof. Expense is one of the driving factors that usually determines the vendor BUT a more economical long range decision should be made based on quality. Quality of product, installation and service are essential components of this decision. This is why we chose to go with Power for our new roof and gutters. EVERY interaction with each employee was customer-centric. They patiently listened to our requirements and concerns and then offered effective solutions during and throughout the entire process. (The warranty was also the best available.) Power is a large company with multiple locations across the country, ours was headquartered in Maryland but the work was completed in Virginia. This geographic distance did not adversely effect the outcome. From the initial salesperson (who took the gutsy risk of letting me visit and talk with two neighborhood customers while he waited outside before signing our contract) through the schedulers, work execution and Quality Control final inspection we were well pleased. The work started on time and was completed on time. Numerous personal phone calls and visits by the Power inspectors provided us with the comforting conclusion that we made the correct choice for a truly professional contractor. With our 50 year labor and product warranty I doubt we will need to redo our roof in our lifetime BUT if we move we would definitely chose Power again! Check the Better Business Bureau reviews and complaints and you will easily see that Power is a responsive and reasonable company to work with. Need a new roof? Power is your answer."

"I finally found a company to paint my colonial 2 story (house was built in the 1960’s)! Technically, it’s cedar shake wood shingles on the front and asbestos shingles on the back and sides. Dependable Painting Services did a quality job over the span of two and a half days. They did all the prep work (washing, scraping and sanding prior to applying two coats). They cleaned up afterwards and left no mess in the yard. Beautiful work, Jaime is an absolute professional and I highly recommend him."

"Affordable Roofing did an excellent job replacing the roof on our 125 year old farmhouse, removing several layers of material and replacing the decking on the porch roofs. From my initial call for quote, the response was quick, the quote was within our budget and they started right on time! We did have several days of rain that delayed the completion, but the crew worked on Saturday to keep on schedule. We now have a 50 warranty on material and workmanship! The clean up was done extremely well! Incidentally, the day they finished, we finally received a quote from another company. "As with the estimate, Richard arrived exactly on time for the insulation addition, and he and Jim performed flawless work with a freindly and professional attitude. They worked quickly and installed 48 styrofoam vents in the rafters in the confined space of my attic (to allow for critical airflow through the soffit).  In addition to the excellent service, Rick also explained the fascinating machinery and process for blowing the insulation into the attic.  After the job was finished, the invoice was exactly the quoted estimate price.
I would quickly hire them again, and I highly recommend this company and employees to anyone who needs insulation.  Richard stated that the savings in heating/cooling costs could exceed the insulation and installation cost within 2 years. "After reading multiple reviews I contacted Jonathon for an estimate. He came out the next day and advised of all options. I wanted to initially replace my old builder deck with a vinyl deck that would require no maintenance and would not fade. In our discussions I was convinced that what I really wanted was a screened in porch in addition to just a deck. Jonathon shared photos of some of his past porch jobs, and I was convinced of his skill as a craftsman. The job in total took about 3 weeks to complete. My wife and I could not be happier. The finished porch is simply stunning and unlike anything else in our neighborhood. Our neighbors have given many compliments! Jonathon was very professional, showed up on time, put in a full day's work regardless of the weather, and was responsive to any questions we had along the way. We love it.
