Ron explained his services and costs, and scheduled his craftsman Robert to come that Monday to see what was needed. Robert then returned on Wednesday and installed everything by end of day...great work, exactly what we needed and when we needed it. I'm very pleased with the quality of work, responsiveness, punctuality and overall professionalism of both Ron and Robert. "I needed alot of work and repairs done in my house. I called and met with Harvey about what I wanted to be done in my home, and two days later, the work was being conducted on my house. The significant items were that I needed new basement steps, and Harvey and his crew rebuilt new the steps and railings. I needed my kitchen refreshed and desperately needed a new kitchen floor. I had the kitchen, dining room, lower and upper hallways, and living room painted. I had my windows corked from the inside, and the outside and some of the windows were also repaired. Harvey and his men were very professional, polite, and extremely hardworking. They showed up every day and on time and worked extremely hard. What distinguished this company from others was the following: Danny S. was the estimator and initially met with my husband. Just prior to the start of the project, Danny returned with the foreman Olger A. He went through the project again with us and talked to Olger about job specifics. Olger is an amazing foreman, on time, efficient, skilled, detailed and an excellent project manager. Danny returned mid project to discuss the work with us and review a repair with Olger. They also did extra work for us not covered with the additional estimate which was handled very efficiently. Additionally, they did some picky repairs, such as reattaching a leader to the house, which was appreciated. The result was a beautiful house with great curb appeal – the result of good teamwork. We highly recommend them."

"We recently replaced the wood floors in our home and were looking to replace two existing staircase railings. We contacted several local contractors including Wood Stairs 4U. When Rod came to the house he was able to quickly understand what we wanted to do and made a few excellent recommendations based on the look of our house and our desire for a traditional look. Within a few days we had a competitive quote. I tend to do a fair amount of research about home projects and had several questions which Rod answered quickly and completely. When it was time to do the install, Rod told us it would take 4-5 days including applying a custom stain. He showed up on time and worked non-stop each of the days he was here. A few times, the shape of our staircase presented a challenge. In each case, Rod presented the options and made a recommendation. In the one case where I was not able to make a choice, he created a model using the old railings so that I could visualize the option. This took about an hour and Rod did it without any complaints. One of the reasons that we hired Rod was his ability to match the color of the new floor. We were not disappointed. The railings are beautiful and we are very happy. Would we recommend Rod?
