"We hired Frank to handle the electrical work for our basement finishing project. Prior to hiring him we did quite a bit of research on what needed to be done and even considered doing the work ourselves. Thus, we knew what the scope of the project was and what to expect. The short answer is that Frank has been fantastic and has met or exceeded virtually all of my expectations. We're almost through the rough-in phase and we're extremely glad that we hired him. His communication has been excellent, the quality of work and attention to detail is top notch, and he's been very proactive with consulting us to ensure everything is installed the way we want. We're looking forward to finishing the project, but in the meantime it's a pleasure having Frank working at our home. Highly recommended!!!"

"Let me just say that the next time I have an electrical related issue that requires some attention it will be Sparky's that I call. Every box that needs checked to leave me satisfied about the service was checked plus those extra boxes that go beyond just satisfaction that give that confidence and peace of mind I need, everyone needs... to feel we've 'made the right decision in who we hire. Thanks Sparky's & Hector! No stone was left unturned and no box was left unchecked! ;)"

"I put in my claim with choice home warranty and CHW setup an appointment for/with Demond electric company The technician arrived I paid the required service fee charge (the service fee varies per state -i have used CHW in 3 different states and the service fee was affordable for the 3 different states) The Demond Electric technician Paul was very very professional, polite, knowledgeable and did a great job."

"Josh did a wonderful, meticulous job. When running late with previous job, he immediately notified me and kept me updated as to the time frame. In addition, I had requested a last minute change to a specific painting technique on one wall that was considerably more challenging than my initial request and he agreed to the task, happily. Excellent workmanship and expertise. Without hesitation, I strongly recommend Omni Services for home renovation projects. A+

Joe was on time to give his estimate and arrived as scheduled today to do the work.  He worked diligently.  Covered the stairs leading to the basement with drop cloths so that he wouldn't track in the wet from outside.  He was personable and competent.  I plan to hire him again in the Spring for some outdoor work on a wheel chair ramp.

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in New-raymer, CO

There are several telltale signs that your home is due for an electrical upgrade. You may need to rewire your house if your lights are constantly flickering or your circuit breaker keeps tripping. If you feel mild electric shocks when you touch light switches, hear buzzing sounds, or notice burning smells, you may need to rewire your house, too. Discolored or burnt-looking switches and faceplates are another crucial warning sign.

Properly installed copper wiring in a residential property can last as long as 50 to 100 years in some cases, but many homes over 30 years old are due for an upgrade. That’s the timeline that many experts recommend, even if it is only a partial update to accommodate technological advancements, increased power demands, and changing safety requirements.

At $3 to $5 per square foot, the cost to wire a 2,000-square-foot house ranges from $6,000 to $10,000, on average. This can depend on many factors, like the age and complexity of the house and how easy it is for contractors to access the areas they need to get the job done. Opening and repairing walls can further add to your total cost.
