"This was a large room mudding and taping and painting project. They were able to start as soon as possible and they completed the project in a timely manner and at a reasonable price. Total overall quality of workmanship was probably 98% great. Only found a couple things I would have done different for the mudding on the drywall however overall it was a great job this was a very challenging room to work in as there was a lot of defects and some original construction already there. Workers were efficient and friendly. I felt like the job was done right."

"Conrad was absolutely amazing. He completed a full interior painting project for my home. He told us that he had many years of experience and it shows through his work! His attention to detail was very appreciated. We had several items that were unexpected but he had a "I can fix it" attitude and he did exactly that. Conrad truly went above and beyond. The work was completed on schedule. I would confidently recommend Conrad for any interior painting project requiring precision and reliability! A big thank you to Conrad for completing our vision and making our home feel new."

"The people at Classic Finishes were professional and flexible. I had a short time frame to get my new home painted after the closing, but before moving in, and the were able to accommodate that. They were friendly and helpful, and their work was not only quick, but more importantly, it was very well done! I couldnâ t be happier!"

"How did it go? VERY well! We were dreading hiring a contractor for replacing our roof, but we met EZ Home Solutions at the Minneapolis Home & Garden show in March 2022 & they helped us realize "dread" didn't need to be a part of replacing our roof. From the start, EZ Home Solutions took care of everything for us, including talking to our insurance company multiple times & walking us through each part of the process. The work was done professionally, the cleanup was complete and the end results was an excellent roof. :) I would highly recommend this company!"

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in New Richmond, WI

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
