"We had a great experience working with James and his team to install a patio in our backyard. James helped us understand the different available materials and methods for installation, and he was transparent about pricing. He even encouraged us to come to the masonry supply store with him to see the stones in person to make sure we liked what we were getting. James and his team also helped us solve some drainage issues in the backyard, repaired our side stairs and replaced the stucco, and fixed some issues with our front walk. Even when unexpected scenarios came up, they were handled thoughtfully and efficiently. Everyone was very friendly and worked really well together. It's very clear James cares a lot about his work, and he wanted us to be happy with the result. Overall everything went faster than I expected and looks beautiful!"

"I called Luis and 2 other contactor's for a small but essential sheetrock job inside our home and demolish and installation of new stairs outside. Well let me tell you Luis came to my house shortly after I called him and he gave me an estimate right away. A few days later I spoke with him and ask him if he could come and perform the sheetrock job next Thursday or Friday because timing was critical. He assured me that he could accommodate me with no worries. Well, Thursday came and he patched up my ceiling wonderfully. He did a very nice job on the sheetrock ceiling ($700). The next day he set up a 3 man crew to demolish my stairs and create a masterpiece new steps. He told us you will be able to walk up these steps with your eyes closed. He adjusted for the drainage and used part of the old stairs as a retaining wall. When the new steps were finished they were stunning and my wife loves them (1,800). We will definitely use Luis and his crew again for our future projects. He is very good."

However, I do feel that I was overcharged for the work and would definitely recommend negotiating (and getting a 2nd opinion). "When I informed the company about errors in their work they were reluctant to make the changes without further compensation. They did a good job with the installation of my front steps until they got to the top landing where they put in a rough finish. After some discussion that error was corrected. The owner indicated that with the construction of my garden wall there would have weep holes. When I checked the wall when it was almost completed, there were no weep holes. He then tried to rationalize why that was the better option. My rain spout had to be removed so that they could install stucco on the rear of the house. When they placed the spout back on the wall they did not use the brackets to secure it to the wall in fact I found them in my backyard on the ground. I mention to them that the brackets were not installed and was assured that the spout was secure. I held on to the brackets nonetheless. A few months later a piece of aluminum behind the gutter slid partially down between the rain spout and the house wall revealing a gaping hole below the gutter above where the stucco installation ended. I sent a photo with a text message asking for the company rep to come and make the needed repairs. We areanged for a mutually convenient time a few days later. You guessed it, he insisted that their failure to secure the rain spout using the brackets was not the reason why the piece beneath the gutter became dislodged. I told him it never moved before their stucco installation. That's aside from the incomplete stucco work. He wouldn't secure the spout and do the stucco repair unless I paid more money. At that point I considered whether I wanted to start the process to get another contractor to complete their work or pay him more money to finish the repair. He came up with an estimate of how much it would cost to have 2 men doth work. I can assure you that they were not at my home anywhere close to the length of time he specified but I paid what was agreed upon. These are some of the reasons why I wouldn't recommend this company."

"Hector and his team did a great job from start to finish. Hector was very thorough with his design and walked us through every aspect to make sure his vision for the project aligned with ours. His team showed up daily and where polite and courteous. The work was completed exceptionally well. Hector even sent the team back over, free of charge, to fix up a couple of stones that were damaged over the winter. Overall, very pleased with the outcome. Would highly recommend."
