"This is our third project with D&D and I expect they'll be our default for all future landscaping projects. Paul Doherty personally specs out each job and manages the project. The workers are professional, attentive to detail and unceasingly polite and friendly. Our most recent job hit a snag when the fencing that D&D had included in the estimate was unavailable because of damage from late-winter snowstorms. No problem: the workers built a fence for us instead. The change in plans probably added two days to the planned schedule, but there were no complaints, no griping about additional cost and no changes to the final price. Having dealt with many contractors over the years, I've come to appreciate how rare it is when they show up on time, complete the job to spec and charge what they say they will charge. D&D Mulch hits on every critical point. I highly recommend them."

"Unfortunately it took him so long to come out to quote the job (and then finally quote it) that we couldn't do the job we wanted anymore due to watering ban restrictions. Unfortunately, but I liked him and I like supporting a growing business-so we signed up for their fertilization program for our existing lawn and I asked him for quotes for replacement projects that we could use the big deal on, I still haven't gotten those quotes, and I still haven't received any fertilization services that I signed on for-despite many assurances.

He is a super nice guy, and I would love to have done business with them, but they just seem overextended. I sent him an email today expressing my frustration and letting him know I will be requesting the refund through Angie's List. It's really too bad-we basically missed out on being able to secure the necessary services for our landscaping needs because I kept giving this guy a break when he'd say, this week, then next week, then, still not done."

"We payed for a multiple spraying over spring and summer. They came as scheduled on thier first spraying, but then because of rain and/or just plain forgetting us, we had to call them to make sure they follow thru with the rest of the scheduled sprayings. They took a little longer getting back to us than I would have like, a week, but they did come back and finish the job.
In the end, we did notice a big difference in the amount of mosquitos, much less, than the year before without spraying.

"Mike carefully explained all facets of the job before beginning work, so I had an understanding of what to expect. His crew came prepared, clearly knew what they were doing, and were pleasant and professional at all times. I love the look of the back of my house, and, once again, can use the small porch to safely access the back yard. They were difficult to schedule, and once I did, they were kind of unenthusiastic about doing the work because I think they though of it as more work as opposed to just a landscape survey. I could tell the owner was not particularly happy that I wasn't going to spend another $500 on getting some sort of landscape architecture plan. It wasn't fun but the work was fine. I don't think it was particularly good or bad. They just used a leaf blower and stuff. Then after I got a bill for $30 for taking and he never told me and I thought that was horrible. I haven't paid it because first of all, he never notified me that there was going to be a charge and I don't see why I should pay for them taking some leaves away when they could have just left them in my lawn and the garbage man would have taken them for free."
