"I love my new deck. Francisco and his crew were a pleasure to work with. I will definately hire them again in the future for other projects. Quality work, fair price, and a true gentleman. Thank you, Francisco!"

"Hired Alberto for yard drainage issues. He responded quickly and was very helpful. His crew installed a drybed and underground drains. They did a greatvjob and were very professional. In fact, they did such a good job, I contacted Alberto the next summer to build a deck. Another great job! My wife and I are really impressed with the work and knowledge that Alberto and his crew showed us. Highly recommended!"

"I'm very pleased. I had concerns about dust and fumes from the epoxy. The dust was minimal and fumes were not an issue at all. If I had to do it all over again, I'd set up a box fan with filters, as I've seen on YouTube, but even without that, the dust was not overwhelming. The workers arrived on time, explained what they were going to do and welcomed my checking in on them. When they went to lunch, they cleaned up their work area, (even put the toilet seat down in the basement bathroom), something I didn't expect at all. I had questions when they were at lunch, and the salesman got the answers I needed quickly. A couple of things I would change about this process: 1. After they were done, cleaned the area for the day, and put their equipment away, one of the workers invited me downstairs to approve their work. If I had not approved, it was a bit late for me to object as they were packed and ready to go. I suggest in the future the homeowner be asked for their approval before everything's packed up. Their work looked good, but this seemed like a manipulative tactic that wasn't appreciated. 2. The more experienced of the two workers explained early on that he needed to remove some insulation but assured me he'd put it back when he was done. When I saw that he'd not put it back, I mentioned it. He refused to put it back, saying "It doesn't matter". It was an odd way to end a perfect job up to that point. I was totally pleased with how everything was handled, and then that comment and behavior from him just put a bad taste in my mouth. That evening or the next day, I received a very nice gift from the company that was just a really nice touch. A couple of weeks later, we had heavy rains and I experienced water along the walls where the work was done. Within a week of me raising the concern, an arrangement for a technician to visit my home was made. I appreciate their prompt attention to the matter. I expect it's very simple like needing more epoxy at the base of the straps, so I decided to go ahead and submit this review. It's difficult to find trustworthy people to do work in your home. I'm very relieved I found a company that is totally worthy of that trust and highly recommend Acculevel. The work they did looks good and solid."

"We recently moved to a 95 yr old home. We were told we had a dry basement when in fact we did not. We looked in to basement waterproofing with a couple different companies but the scope of the work and the cost didn’t feel like the right solution. We had Don come out and he was very knowledgeable, professional and very courteous. He recommended some things that the other companies did not. He actually talked us out of mor expensive fixes. He said he believes in starting with the least intrusive, least expensive options first. His solutions worked for us. We would 10/10 recommend Don and his crew at Foundation Doctors LLC."

"When initially called he was very busy and said he couldn't get at my job for a couple of months. He promised he would get to me before snow came. Some 75 days later he called me and made arrangements to assess the job. He arrived punctually to do the assessment, set the price, and agreed to do the job a couple of days later. He was on time to do the job and completed it. His work was good and he cleaned up. I will use him again. <br />"

"Graded and poured a long drive for me, obtained all the permits to connect to the state road I live on. they put a drywell in for drainage and its now been 2 seasons and everything still looks and functions perfectly. I have hired a lot of contractors in the past and probably had the best experience with Robert Geans!"

"If you're looking for a contractor that stands behind the quality of their work you might want to rethink hiring Dreamscapes Home Improvements. Dreamscapes charged me $800 for a new chimney flashing when they installed my new roof in August of 2015. In October of 2018, the first time I had been in my attic since the installation of my new roof, I noticed that the roof had been leaking for some time on the north side of my chimney as the plywood was heavily stained in the area of the leak. I believe a new roof should remain leak free for longer than 3 years so I called Joel at Dreamscapes. He came out and made a cursory inspection of the chimney, but didn't find an obvious cause of leak. He said he would come back the following Friday with his son to do a more extensive search for the cause of the leak and make a correction to a section of the flashing was that was sagging in the center. Like I said that was in October of 2018, this is August of 2019. I haven't heard from anyone at Dreamscapes since that day and they haven't responded to any of my communications. I believe that I have since found the cause of the leak myself. Things seem to be staying dry at least for now. The problem I found I was where the mason that had previously rebuilt my chimney left a dime sized void that should have been filled with mortar allowing rain to get behind the bricks. I would have been willing to pay Dreamscapes for finding and making that repair since it had nothing to do with the work they had done, but they completely blew me off. The point I'm trying to make is; if you're looking for a contractor who will stand behind his work and make a warrantee repair for you when things go wrong, this isn't the guy you want."

"Ever dry waterproofed out crawl space about 14 years ago. Their service rep was prompt, professional and informative. We were drawn to the lifetime guarantee and signed a contract. The crew was punctual and hard working, finishing earlier than expected. We were impressed with how well they protected our flooring when carrying out buckets of concrete and how well they cleaned up. We have had to call a couple of times for small problems and were extremely pleased with the speed in which someone was here to fix them. I have recommended Everdry to many friends knowing they will not be dissatisfied. DottieP Dowagiac, MI"

FAQs for concrete flatwork repair & resurface projects in New-troy, MI

When evaluating whether patching can address your concrete blemishes, it’s important to assess the extent of the damage. Minor issues such as small cracks or chipped areas may be effectively repaired with patching techniques that restore the surface’s appearance. However, if you notice widespread deterioration, significant cracks, or structural weakening, resurfacing is recommended as a more durable, long‑term solution. A thorough evaluation by a concrete specialist can help determine the best course of action for restoring your concrete to its optimal condition.

The optimal time to resurface your concrete driveway is late spring. This period benefits from warm temperatures and softened ground conditions following winter’s freeze‑thaw cycles, ensuring that the new overlay bonds securely and matures to a durable finish. Resurfacing at this time also enhances your property's safety and curb appeal. Engage a concrete professional to schedule your project during this ideal season.
