"Mr. Ouzana  first explained that he would apply four coats of a heavy duty paint. We discussed the durability of the results. I had already painstakingly applied several coats of epoxy paint myself and saw it wear away in less than six months. Mr. Ouzana explained that this paint was a heavy duty industrial paint used for car bodies and other such hard wearing surfaces. He cautioned that he normally only applies this to bathroom sinks not kitchen sinks because of the heavier wear that they get when heavy pots and pans are dropped on them. I assured him that I subject my kitchen sink to that kind of wear so he proceeded. First he stripped the remaining epoxy paint that was left on my sink and then filled the chipped areas with a green paste I had never seen before. While that was setting up he masked off the area around the sink. At which point he was ready to paint. This entailed four coats of the paint using an airbrush, passing it horizontally, then vertically, then horizontally, and finally vertically again until there was no sign of the old surface. Instead there was a clean white, very new looking sink. Mr. Ouzana then cleaned up everything and we found his masking had done a perfect job; there was no sign of paint on any other surfaces than the sink. I paid him the agreed upon amount, feeling very satisfied with his work. Throughout the several hours of his work Avi Ouzana was good company, very polite and willing to explain exactly what he was doing. His prices seemed more than fair to me and there were no hidden charges or add ons. All in all I was very pleased with his work.
