"Express Sunrooms of Charlotte was hired to repair a large (12â X 52â ) 35 year old deck. In addition to the deck repair, they were asked to install a large awning (12â X 24â ) and to replace 3 glass sliding doors and 2 windows. Before the work began, on-line reviews of the work were evaluated which showed a high satisfaction rating. The quote provided by Express Sunrooms was also checked against typical charges and found to be quite fair. Throughout the project and at every stage of the project, the management dealt with us honestly as if we were family. The customer service was top tier. Since no construction project has zero flaws, it is always interesting to see how the contractor responds to them. We found that Express Sunrooms went above and beyond our expectations. We wouldnâ t hesitate to use Express Sunrooms again and highly recommend them."

We worked with Palmetto Renovations from fall of 2023 through February of this year and we should have connected with their design specialty showroom and staff years ago as our home has never looked better. Our kitchen finally features real stone quartzite with a blend of stunning LVP waterproof flooring, elegant tiled backsplash and an entirely new lighting system from chandeliers to the under cabinet lighting. They replaced a window in the bay area to match the exterior clad. All trim was stained and by the time things were wrapped up, there were no imperfections to even address. It was an experience to brag about."

"spoke with someone from Cobon Construction, Newberry SC. He stated he was going to come to my house the weekend of the 28th/29th for an estimate. He never showed up or called to state he wasn’t coming. I texted him to see if he was going to do the estimate ….He never answered!! I texted him again a day later to tell him it was disrespect and bad business, not only for himself but Angie’s list!! His reply was “Who’s this” I will not be attempting to contact them again nor will I use Angie’s for referrals in the future. This whole incident left a bad taste in my mouth !!"

"This was my first experience hiring a contractor and Mr. Sturgess's was great to work with. He was able to meet with me outside of my work hours to go over my plans. His crew was on time, friendly, and answered any questions I had. Mr. Sturgess rates were very reasonable, and he and his team are very honest and easy to work. "HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE- it's been 2 and a half years and our home is still not finished!!!!!! Poor communication, poor follow-through, poor organization--the owner of this Paul Davis branch caused so much undue stress and out-of-pocket money charges. He looses documents, fails to meet deadlines (told insurance company, mortgage company, and us the job would be done in a year and we are still waiting for it to be done 2 and a half years later). High turn-over is the norm with this branch--we are on our 4th project manager. Things have gone missing in the home, can't provide numbers and spreadsheets documenting costs (only when persistently asked for and having corporate involved does he get one to us), says one thing but then does another. For example, 8 months and running, and they still have not completed painting our house. Many times we agreed on projects and contractors only to turn around and have Paul Davis do something else which always resulted in things going wrong and having to be redone (and costing us out-of-pocket money--for example stairs had to be redone twice because of poor quality and poor oversight for getting someone other than who we agreed on). Custom molding was redone twice after the first time it was done wrong. And many other mistakes which are too exhaustive to list. We had to get corporate involved numerous times and are still waiting for them to help us resolve matters. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! It pains us to have to write such a bad review--but we do not wish anyone else to have to experience what we did (and are still going through)."
