"Joe Miller and his assistant dug around the base of each of the fence posts to prep for pouring new cement to hold them erect.  They had to dig deeper than expected.  They also found that one of the posts had cracked.  They left and bought a steel repair part that they bolted around the crack to reestablish the integrity of the post.  Unfortunately, the temperature was 93 that day. <br> <br>They managed to get the posts plumb again and poured cement into the holes around each post.  They also covered the cement with dirt to complete that part of the work. <br> <br>Joe was also able to reattach the section of fence that had pulled away from the corner post. <br> <br>I believe the work was more than expected, but the price remained the same as quoted. <br> <br>We would definitely hire Joe again and recommend him to our friends and family."

Since the first pasture, We've asked Chris to come back three times and do additional fence and solution. "Mixing old with new always tends to lend to PROBLEMS, especially  in construction. We had ordered the same fencing that had been installed prior (years earlier) to add to that fence. Dan's fence did agree to do the installation even though he would not normally consider installing another companies product.  Since the fence had been installed years before we purchased the property and it was still available, Steve Magee, owner of Dan's Fence Co. agreed to help us with our project. What we did not know is while it still had the same name that company had changed the dimensions enough to cause multiple installation problems. These problems were not discovered till the original sections had been removed and we were committed.  I must say while very frustrated, Steve, was wonderful of sticking it out and finding the solution.  It took allot of extra work, time and imagination but he was able to complete the job to our satisfaction.  <br /> Steve was great to work with, with each new problem he stayed calm and pleasant. He always presented several options for me to choose from. <br />"

"The technician was on time and professional. He climbed up on the roof and examined it. He reported that there was no damages, but a couple of shingles needed repair. He repaired the loose shingles for no charge This service gave me great confidence in the firm. I would use them in the future."

"They came out to the house a couple of times to check exactly what sections of concrete needed to be repaired and to take measurements. Their work was very good, precise and looks wonderful. They could have just made a standard, straight L-shaped sidewalk from the back yard to the front of the house, but they curved the sidewalk and slanted it for drainage away from the house and it looks wonderful. We also had them put up a retaining wall beside the sidewalk since our property is downhill from our neighbor's house and we needed a wall to hold back the soil. I asked them to make the retaining wall the same multi-color tan brick as our house. They did sub-contract this work, but the Heidorn Construction people did oversee the work. They planted new grass above the retaining wall and graded the soil so it would not come over the new retaining wall. The finished retaining wall curves the same as the sidewalk, looks wonderful and we have had many positive comments about how good the sidewalk and retaining wall look. "they came and walked the yard with me and measured. then I was given a written quote and decided that even though they were slightly more money than the other companies I had spoken with to go with them, they were the only company willing to put the gates in the way I wanted them done. They came on a Thursday and set all the posts and explained because the ground was so wet that they would not complete the fence until Monday so the concrete had time to set. They even put a temp fence up for my dogs. I left for work on Monday morning and came back to the fence completed and the area cleaned. <br />"
