"I hired Vanir landscapes to put a wall aesthetic type feel to my back stone patio. The process was extremely smooth and the team was extremely professional and educated. Once we picked everything out and he knew what I wanted. The team installed a beautiful retaining wall that not only looked exactly like what & was wanting, but started and constructed the wall in less than a day. They’re professional, easy to work with, their work ethic is top tier, and they do the job with critical precision. I’m very happy with there work and will be hiring them for more projects. I highly recommend Vanir landscapes "

"I called to make an appointment and had my phone call returned promptly by the landscape coordinator/planner. He came to the house, listened to what I was looking for and came back with an easy to maintain, right on budget plan. He walked me through maintenance and always was available for questions. We planted late in the season so I can't wait to see how everything will come up!"

"They did a spectacular job considering what they had to work with when they started. The roof is exceptional. I don't have any leaks and I don't have roof shingles blowing off in my yard or the neighbors' yard; it is wonderful. The thing that I was most impressed was that they cleaned up after they were done. These guys went out and made sure that the nails were up and everything. I was just very pleased. I have recommended them to a friend. The price included the tear off of the old roof. At some places there were three to four layers of roofing shingles thick and there was a layer of wood shakes. People had just gone over and over it. I was way beyond the village code, but I bought the house like that. It leaked and I tarred it until I got enough money to get the roof done. They also insulated over the porch for me. They did the garage roof as well. I absolutely had no complaints. I had a lot of people into my house to do work. This was the first group of people that I have had here that did what they promised and cleaned up their mess. I had no problems and no need to call them back. I got prices from several other people. They weren't the cheapest, but they were right down there. It was a fair price. They had it done when they said they would have it done."

"When I moved into the house, the landscaping was very pretty, but I didn't know how to keep it up. I hired KO Landscape and Design to come out last year to help me make sense of what I had and to replace some of the plants I sort of killed off (I have a black thumb). Kyle also turned my backyard jungle into an oasis. He put in a pond and some beautiful stones, added black mulch and made everything look beautiful! I fell in love with my back yard! This year it was a no-brainer to have Kyle come back and help me out with cleaning up after the winter and to get my pond back up and going. His team was on-time and respectful. I love how Kyle asked me what I wanted, involving me in the planning process. He contacted me a couple of days before coming out to finalize any specific vegetable or plants I wanted. When the weather didn't cooperate (it was too cold one day and too rainy another), he rescheduled immediately to make sure he could get here at the first available moment. This year I had a couple of additional requests, including some flowers and stones in front of my house leading up to my Little Free Library. He made it look beautiful! I know if I have any questions, Kyle will respond quickly to answer them. (I had watering questions last year.) I'll never hesitate to have him back or to recommend him to friends, family and neighbors!"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Newfane, NY

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
