"They did a great job. Very professional and fast work. Provided details of the process of what was needed ie materials and timing. Improvement from initial work that was done to reduce any potential molding issue by recommending and replacing a certain area with different material from original."

"Phenomenal experience with Scott! He took great care of us! I’m currently 8 months pregnant and was uncomfortable bringing my child into this model infested apartment. Due to Scott’s expertise the leasing office broke my lease without penalties and will reimburse deposit fees. Thanks again! Highly recommended."

"Look no further, Alex is your guy to inspect your home or future home you’re under contract on. Very detailed and explains everything he sees/finds as he goes throughout the house. Just make sure you plan to be there with him and block out several hours for yourself. I highly recommend you do this because it helps seeing it for yourself versus just reading a report. Very knowledgeable and I would definitely use again in the future."

"I called Nathaniel after another contractor found suspected asbestos tape in our crawl space. Nathaniel was able to arrange a same-day appointment for me at a price that was the best of all the many companies I called. He arrived on time and was professional, courteous, and competent. I plan to continue with them for the abatement of any issues his testing uncovers and would highly recommend his team!"

"It was a great experience. This is my final home purchase. I told him the current home owner is meticulous. He laughed and said we'll see. He has called our home a diamond. The owner is meticulous. I can't wait to move in."

"This company performed my home inspection and did not detect that my furnace was venting into a "Capped Chimney flue" posing a serious health risk to my family of CO2. Reached out when replacing the furnace once this was detected and spoke with the Director of Operations and he noted that they were not responsible for making sure the furnace venting worked and flowed correctly. The report even notes that the furnace was fine to keep using until replacement was needed. I noted that the presence of only one open fireplace flue and no divider wall could be seen from the roof or the base of the chimney on a one story home. He said he was sympathetic but would not do anything to advice on the situation because they had seen 300 houses since then. Extremely unprofessional or unwilling to work with a customer after they collected their payment. Would not recommend using them if you are looking for a complete and thorough inspection."

FAQs for radon gas testing projects in Newnan, GA

Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the U.S. The gas seeps through cracks in foundations and collects in basements and other low areas. Once you breathe it in, radioactive particles lodge in lung tissue and do long-term damage. Because you can’t see or smell radon, the EPA recommends testing your home every two years—and after major renovations—to keep your family safe.

Yes—every home should be tested. The EPA advises doing it at least every two years and any time you remodel, buy, or sell. On average, one in 15 houses nationwide sits above the recommended limit, and the only way to know where yours stands is a formal test. The equipment simply measures gas levels and won’t change your indoor environment, so the process is completely harmless.

Certified radon professionals—often home inspectors or dedicated radon mitigation contractors—handle testing. These radon testing professionals follow EPA protocols and use calibrated instruments to check levels throughout your house. Hiring a certified radon specialist means results you can trust for real estate deals, insurance requirements, and, most importantly, your family’s health.

Inspectors specialize in measuring radon gas levels, while licensed mitigation contractors design and install the systems that remove it. If your test comes back high, your inspector can point you to a qualified mitigation pro who will size and install the right fan, piping, or other equipment to bring levels down.

No—standard home air purifiers don’t touch radon. They’re built to trap dust and pollen, not radioactive gas. If testing shows high levels, you’ll need a dedicated mitigation system that vents the gas from beneath your home to the outdoors. Relying on a room purifier alone won’t keep your indoor air safe.

Opening a few windows in your home might dilute radon for a short time, but the gas seeps back in as soon as they’re closed. For a lasting fix, you’ll need a professional mitigation system—often a sub-slab depressurization fan—that pulls radon from beneath the foundation and safely vents it outside.
