"Bobby and Tino Bonanno of Bonanno Construction are top notch and we would recommend them to anyone considering any type of construction project. We have worked with them before - years back they excavated our backyard and put in new retaining walls. It was a no-brainer to call them again for our driveway project. Our driveway is sloped and goes down to our garage that is under the house. The original retaining walls were started to cave in and the drainage at the bottom was original to the house, built in 1954 so it was all filled in with dirt and we have had flooding problems in the garage over the years. Bobby and Tino worked with us on ideas and design and also recommended an electrician that they collaborate with to install a heated driveway system. They worked in coordination and we were incredibly happy with his work as well (Ben from Benjamin Electric, Inc. - please see our separate review of them also). The team that works for Bonanno is an excellent group of workers - several of them have worked for Bonanno for many years. They are neat, hard workers, considerate and just all around professional and nice guys who do beautiful work. They worked very hard - and it was not easy work - excavating, hauling large stones, and building round stone walls during the summer heat. They worked steadily and although the project is a messy and noisy one, they minimized mess as much as possible by cleaning up thoroughly each day and working efficiently and as quickly as possible. Bobby and Tino oversee the work and keep a close eye on what is going on - they respond quickly to any concerns and were always available to meet if we had questions during the process. One of the blue stone caps got gouged during the final work and they came and looked at it and the piece was completely replaced first thing the next morning - just like new - no questions asked. They pay attention to details which you do not always find when hiring people. They replaced and re-set our in-ground sprinklers (they were unavoidably disturbed during the work) and made sure they were functioning properly when the work was done - and they were. They made great recommendations for pavers and types of stone. We absolutely love our new driveway, drainage system, retaining walls and walkway! It all looks incredible and we could not be happier with the work they did - professional, friendly, detail oriented and they keep their promises. Great people to work with. Everyone in the neighborhood is commenting on our driveway!!"

"It went great! We were going to add to our patio with brick pavers, but working with American Made Masonry, they helped us select stone pavers that were terrific. The crew was very professional and meticulous. It turned out better than we hoped.
