"The Project was a complete success from start to finish! Elias, the Project Manager was excellent. We had a major problem with a roof that was leaking . We had several contractors come to look at the roof for estimates. Elias spent the most time of any of the contractors viewing and evaluating the roof and siding as well as the inside of the house where the water was leaking into and discussed the project with the President of Beantown. He was excellent at explaining what needed to be done. It was not your average "roof job" as the roof abutted a large chimney and the room under the roof was cold and drafty. The roofing team was very professional and did an excellent job. They also added the appropriate insulation, new siding to the house by the roof, gutters and appropriate flashing. The roof not only looks great, but the room beneath the roof is no longer drafty and there are no leaks. Company was hired to correct the issues caused by a prior roofer whose incompetence has cost me additional thousands in repair. On Top Roofing installed a ridge vent that the prior roofer only placed on the roof, re-flashed the chimney where prior roofer failed to install to match new rook lines, re-surface flat rook where prior roofer ignored. In addition, On Top Roofing was used on apartment buildings to help close up the roof and eliminate a bat problem. On the Top Roofing is the only roofing company to use. "Our project started with a request to clean our car shakes roof which had some bad shakes, discoloration due to moss and other dirt encased and other problems. Chet went over some tradeoffs which would provide protection against what had already occurred being repeated after a roof wash and we decided to redo most of the roof with better shakes and processes. Chet was upfront with cost and benefits of changes to the original plan and submitted a cost effective proposal. He and his team were professional at all times, kept the place clean by picking up debris daily and keeping us up to date on delays due to weather. Our tasks, in addition to the roof were to fix a window destroyed gy a woodpecker, painting and other external repairs. His team was qualified for roofing, external repairs and internal repairs. We recommend them highly. In addition, I asked if he knew of a handyman and he said he had one. The man was an expert, efficient and extremely handy. Ranch's estimate was less expensive and had an optional repair on a side piece of the roofing that the other firm did not notice. After other roofers had previously come by only to say they were not able to work on this kind of roof, Anthony and Aaron from Tar Star came by within an hour of my request for an estimate.
