He explained exactly what he was going to do before he started our slate roof repairs and reviewed all the details with us. He replaced almost all of the copper cap flashing and 50+ slate. Along with the slate and copper repairs he rebuilt the chimney from just below the roofline and flashed it with lead. Finally, he installed copper boots for the plumbing vents and a new copper dryer vent. I have noticed that several of my neighbors have also used his services since completing our roof. "Well, I knew it was time for a new roof. Based on its age and just looking at it, I knew it. I had put off this decision for quite a while now, but yes, now was the time to finally invest in a new roof. After speaking with him, I was confident about their services and capabilities, the materials, and the process, steps and timeline for the job. I also felt that the project cost was very competitive, reasonable, and fair. From contract to materials delivery to house prep and to the completed roof and cleanup, the project went along quite smoothly. I am very pleased with my new roof. He gets in there with a big crew the day he says he will start, gets the job done in a day or two and leaves a job well done with a clean job site without any sign of debris or roofing materials to be found. "We got a full roof replacement with On Top Roofing, and had an excellent experience! Tim and his team were very responsive. The office manager was really great about contacting me right back, getting us scheduled in for an estimate, keeping me updated on times for work. They also were able to get us in this season, even though they were fully booked. Super great since we had leaks and didn't want to go all winter with them. Tim did the estimate himself and the price was fair and within range of other quotes. We opted for a rubber roof on our back dormer. Rain delayed work getting done for a day, but they made sure the roof was watertight before rain set in, and came back to finish up the next day. "We met with representatives from several roofing companies before deciding to go with Power Construction. There is no question that our main deciding factor was the effectiveness of Jack Cicco, the companyâ s Estimate Consultant. In explaining the whole process to us and giving us a firm quote on the spot. He was patient in answering our many questions since we really were not up to speed on what is involved in roof replacement. The Power Construction team arrived early to get started on the work on the appointed day. We had an opportunity to walk around the house before the work started to point out shrubs/trees that we were particularly concerned about. Then the team got to work. They had the old shingles off in no time and then the owner asked us to go outside to view the bare roof. He had taken photos of some rot. We are not of an age to climb up any ladders to check on this so we pointed out to him that on hiring the company, our expectation was that they would be honest about anything that needed extra attention. We had no hesitation in giving the go ahead to have the extra work done. We were indeed astonished to find the new roof installed before 6:00 pm and the huge tarpaulins removed with all the debris. After the fact, we had a couple of questions and were pleased that the owner of the company stopped by to answer these to our satisfaction. "Initially they were responsive and got to the job quickly. They started one day later than their initial estimate and finished the job in a day and a half. The roof has gone through the Arthur downpour with no apparent leaks. <br /> The cleanup wasn't perfect, as there were small pieces of old roofing and cellophane strips left on the ground. In a couple of places where the roof changed direction the shingles didn't conform fully to the shape leaving some gaps. Also, when they reflashed around the chimney they put the new flashing one course above the old flashing, rather than digging out the old flashing and inserting the new material in the same place. <br /> When I called about the issues they were pleasant, but it took a few weeks for a representative to come out and review things, and then three more weeks for them to come to resolve the first two issues. The flashing is just the way they do things and is OK. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"Everything was great except cleanup. There was a misunderstanding about which shingles we wanted, but Willard made good on it. They even removed a small area where they had installed the wrong shingles and replaced them with the right shingles, all at no extra charge. The new roof looks great. The only problem was cleanup. We found a large number of nails in our yard and on our driveway, and a lot of pieces of plastic lying around."
