"Frank did an amazing job installing a new electrical circuit panel in my mother’s house. He was professional, punctual, and very knowledgeable about the work that needed to be done. He took the time to explain each step, ensured everything was up to code, and left the area clean when finished. The new panel looks great and works perfectly. I highly recommend Frank for any electrical work — excellent service from start to finish!"

"We needed to put a cable outlet on a wall in our music room where we were relocating a computer, desk, router and speakers, and Mike Stapleford did the job in about an hour or so. He has years of experience and was a nice guy.

"AWESOME experience with Frank from Phase 5 Electric! He was quick to get our project scheduled and completed. Reasonably priced and one of the nicest persons my husband and I have met in many years. He is hard working, honest and very tidy. We would hire him back in a heartbeat! A very pleasant gentleman. We were so thankful to have him take care of our electrical needs."

"I hired Lights On Electric to run an underground line from the electric panel in my home to my new storage shed, 80 feet within the home and 100 feet buried conduit to the electric panel in the shed. This required a rental trencher and some difficult hand digging. The work was done in one day by Hank and Chris. They are able technicians and they did an excellent job. Hank and Chris are a pleasure to work with. I'm very happy with the results."

"Highly recommend AMF for all your electrical needs. The whole crew were very professional. Took the time to explain everything from existing issues they found and the steps they would take to repair. They had to move some furniture and other things and paid close attention to detail while cleaning up after themselves and putting everything back exactly how it was. Top notch craftsmanship"

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Newtown Square, PA

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
