"I’ll start by saying Larry and his son Jackson are 2 of the most honest, courteous, knowledgeable, and hardworking people I’ve had the pleasure of working with. From the start Larry got the permits and handled the engineer meetings to spec the beams and gave detailed bids of materials needed and work to be done. Along the way there were many opportunities to cut corners but that’s NOT how he does business. He wants his work to last and you can tell that by the finished product and his attitude for what he’s doing. I’m so glad that he took on my job and he transformed my 1934 East Nashville home into the open concept I wanted while also listening to my wants of keeping the original character. It’s hard to find companies and people like Larry. He will be my first call anytime I need help with a new project. This picture shows one of the 2 beams and the great framing work he did on the walkway. This beam spanned 20 ft and included 2 steal plates that he was able to tuck in the ceiling after cutting away floor joists and reattaching them."

"Needed a 12'x10' bedroom carpet cleaned for pet soiling. Called and discussed service offerings with local Chem-Dry franchise. Had a 20% coupon from their site. Was never told of fees or minimum charges as they are advised during consultation apparently. Tech showed on appointment date and advised of fee which was less than their minimum charge of $139 and coupon couldn't apply. I wasn't thrilled with that info but agreed for treatment. Only after I signed everything and paid by check did I notice their receipt stated a minimum charge is $119. There was no reason given on the $20 overcharge other than that's their new minimum. Is this legal? Onto service. Treatment resolved pet urine odor, but after 7 days the room still smells of chemicals and dirty water. The carpet is bleached in some areas so it's no longer an even beige. Stains still show under UV light. I complained immediately a few hours later via phone calls to business about questionable pricing, odor, and stains not removed when viewed under UV light. Business claimed they've increased their rates (again their receipt states $119 min charge so their business model of making up prices on site is a scam to me,) and the stains won't come out under UV light. Had I been advised of this and the fact the room would wreak for over a weak of chemicals and dirty water, I wouldn't have used their service. Their receipt has so many disclaimers I find that too to be a scam where they are absolved of any wrongdoing. Business offered to send their "master" technician to work on remaining stains but I fear he'll either create more bleached spots or use too much chemicals and the room will be inhospitable with foul odors. In response to owner's response to my original review, yes it was your company. Look at the invoice header pic. You cashed my check. I'm in your records from mid-December. A full refund WOULD be nice, but I'll be surprised if it shows up in my mailbox. I also submitted a complaint to the BBB, however the business took over 2 months to respond. Their comment to the BBB, 2 months has passed so they can't verify the damages because I probably did it. Nice hiding behind sleazy tactics. Let time pass to respond (why does a business need 2 months to respond to the BBB) and use it as an excuse against the credibility of the complaint. Might as well just add that to the dozens of disclaimers which occupy half of the invoice. My favorite part is that they claimed I could've caused the stains that I complained about. Well, here's a little factoid - I have on the wall of the bedroom a surveillance camera to monitor pet activity. I clearly have recorded on camera when the technician put too much chemical spray in the exact area of the stains. I do not have time to go to small claims court. All the business had to do was fess up that sometimes things happen and offer a good-will gesture of partial if not full reimbursement. The prior response from the owner was that I'm not in their database. Um, the BBB complaint clearly listed who I was and yes I AM in the database. "Buyer Beware" when using this company's service and remember they operate under numerous company names which also is a sleazy technique to gain more customers. If someone heard something bad about one company name, this company still has more opportunities to gain that person's business through the other company names. Pure ******. Surprised a side business isn't selling used cars."
