In addition to the Angie's list deal of $159, paid an extra $100 to not even have half of a garage hauled away. After the phone service told us the minimum charge was $188 for 1/8 (?) of a truck, we assumed that the two upright containers would surely only take that amount of room, especially since we had used them before and had an understanding of how big the truck was. When the workers arrived, they had a smaller truck, so - guess what? the charge was higher! In addition, thinking of the space in the truck we'd seen before, we had added a couple of items to what we wanted disposed. The total cost, including sales tax, wasa $$322! AND the electronic processing system forced us to choose a tip amount. A tip for what? A tip for doing their job? VERY UNHAPPY"

"The bar in my basement knotty pine rec room was not being used and to access the area behind the bar you had to stoop low to get thru the tiny bar door...very uncomfortable. The lighting in that room was also very dim and dated. I basically wanted an area to store items that were gathering in the room and cluttering it up. I was not looking for a big redo of the room. Rob and son took out the bar but were able to save some of the knotty pine from one wall behind the bar and use it to form the walls around the new door to the closet they built. Then they put up drywall for that removed wall in the closet. They removed cabinets that were behind the bar to give me more storage room for the bigger items I wanted to put in the closet. They moved an electric outlet that was in the back of the closet area and put it outside the closet so I can access it to plug in a TV. They installed a switch for a ceiling light already in the closet area so it was no longer operated by a string pull. They patched up 2 holes in the wall that had been cut out for stereo speakers with wood they removed from the bar. They also took out 3 old ceiling light fixtures and installed 8 canned dimmable lights in two zones to cover the whole room. They cut up any wood left from the bar, etc into pieces I can fit in my garbage can...least expensive way to get rid of it. They cleaned well when done. I am very happy with the work done and feel Rob got a good grip on what i hoped to accomplish. It was a relatively small job for him but I felt he cared a lot that I was happy and satisfied with how it turned out. The work took about 1 2/3 days to complete."
