"Best Way Siding and Roofing was the first to contact me when I signed up on HomeAdvisor and the first to give me an estimate. Luis was knowledgeable and competent. He arrived with the most impressive presentation (handouts) of all the contractors who came to give us estimates. The first thing I liked about Luis was that had a copy of his certificate of liability insurance and registration with the Dept of Consumer Protection (which I confirmed as I had worked with a construction management company before), This gave Luis a very good first impression. Luis was knowledgeable and answered our questions and addressed our concerns. He was not pushy. We told him upfront that we were getting multiple quotes, and he was the first. After seeing other roofing contractors we went with Best Way Siding and Roofing. I did not like the big companies, the franchises; not my style. I like the small family company, so we went with him, and we are glad we did. Best Way Siding and Roofing removed our old roofing shingles and replaced multiple pieces of rotted plywood before installing a well-known roofing system and replacing our skylight. The job was done in a day. The crew kept my husband informed of their progress and took pictures of the rotted plywood and showed him the pieces. They did a wonderful job. I usually second guess myself when making any decisions but not this time. I have already recommended Best Way Siding and Roofing to others."

"L&L made several visit including Saturday and Sunday to evaluate the job and made several suggestions as to the best way to replace the roof without any damage to the interior of our house.They promised to pick a good day to do the job and complete the job in one day. They arrived at about 7:30 AM with a crew of about 10 workers and had the complete roof replaced and the yard completely cleaned up before 4:30 PM. This included new lead flashing for the chimney and replacing 2 sheets of plywood. In addition they guaranteed the workmanship of the roof for as long as we owned the house. We had no problems at all.

"A1 did a great job on my new roof and gutters. Clearly defined scope of work, prompt and flexible scheduling, used high-quality shingles with a good warranty. They don't subcontract out their roofing work, which is a big plus. Considerate workers, documented the new roof with photos and videos, and had everything cleaned up by the end of the day. "I have a 1914 house with a low pitch tin roof over a sun porch. A leak developed, but despite close inspection I could not find a puncture or crack or a split in any seam. Joe responded quickly and proposed a membrane roof. He offered a low cost sealant, but warned me it would only last 2 or 3 years. I chose the low cost temporary fix; the job was done very quickly involving a special sealing paint over every seam, and followed by a heavy coating of a watertight sealing material. It was done in less than 1 day. The next two days it rained ... no leaks. I know I will be hiring J Corrigan again in a year or two for a membrane roof, but for now all's good."

"My project involved a full kitchen and bathroom renovation in my 100+ year old house. It came with all the challenges of an older home, complete with uneven walls and floors, original plaster, and strangely shaped rooms / layout. Leo was very attentive, detail oriented, and always wanted to be sure I was happy with the decisions needed. I never felt like he was trying to upsell me or increase the scope of the project for his own gain. Along the way there were things I added to the scope, but he was always helpful in deciding what was needed or made sense to do vs. something not needed or that might be overinvesting. He was very diligent and detail oriented in all aspects of the job. The project involved leveling and sheet rocking walls and ceilings, new tile throughout the bathroom, new tub, installation of shower doors, removal of an exterior window (and residing exterior to cover the area, which was done seamlessly), new sinks, vanity, mirrors, and fixtures, and a slew of other details I’m probably leaving out. It was a challenging space and came out great! Much of the same was needed in the kitchen, but it also included new cabinets, counters, backsplash, and framing out a very weird wall so the cabinets and appliances would make sense and be even. He also painted all of rooms and left the house clean and beautiful. He was always polite and trustworthy. I would definitely recommend him and hire him again for another similar project in the future."
