"This is the second time that I’ve used High Definition painting - Fernando and his team did an incredible job painting the third floor of my home and outside shutters. The finished product looks incredible and the team is wonderful. Highly recommend."

"Mark was very friendly, professional, responsive and finished the job a timely manner. He gave us a fair estimate and was able to accurately describe the scope of the project up front. We had just bought a 1967 ranch that needed updating and Mark and his team removed some paneling and layers of old painted wallpaper from almost every room in the house, repaired the walls and painted our new house to get it ready for us to move in and make our home. He was also knowledgeable about helping us choose the right paint color and finish. He even stood by his work and helped us fix a snafu weeks later in the bathroom due us not having a working fan. I highly recommend Color Concepts."

Customers say: Quality work

"Ursula went above and beyond for us, he traveled all the way from Worcester to Fitchburg without hesitation. His painting work is flawless, and he handled several handyman repairs while he was here. On top of his skill, he is incredibly humble, polite, and genuinely likable. We couldn’t be happier with the results!"

"Start to finish, excellent service and value delivered. Crew & team were extremely professional, great communicators, always went the extra step to ensure the project was done exactly as it was requested. We moved into a new office space and originally just wanted some touch-ups, they transformed the space into something we didn't think was possible, all while meeting our tight deadlines. Wouldn't look anywhere else for any future commercial or residential work to be done."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in North Oxford, MA

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
