The price quoted was fair and reasonable compared to other quotes we received but the quality and type of both the porch and fence was definitely above par by comparison. "In general, they performed the work in the contract, so that was good. My only disappointment was that there are different types of deck waterproofing and sealing, and (in retrospect) I wish they had been a little more 'consultative' in the pre-sales phase, explaining the options to me so that I could make an educated decision on the choice of sealant and color. After the job was performed they did call me to discuss the minor concerns I raised. That conversation was very helpful, and I appreciate their concern about my satisfaction. My only suggestion to Mel is to have that conversation BEFORE the job to manage the customer's expectations."
