"I have a new lawn and moles were destroying it.  Mike came when he said he would come.  He put granules in several places in my yard and gave me a 45-day guarantee.  He also assured me that it could take up to two weeks before the moles would be gone.  It took about ten days but then I saw another mound.  Mike sent his crew to my house but another mound again.  Mike came back himself and put his product in the yard.  Hopefully the problem is gone but he said he would come back if I see any more mounds.
Mike was responsive to me and I won't hesitate to call him again if the moles return."

"I called Brandon and he answered his own phone. We made a date to look at my property. He showed up at the prescribed time and introduced himself. He was taken by the size and beauty of the oak tree. He looked at all the others and started talking about their individual characteristics. I told him to trim the oak, and the cedrus deodora and prune the cherry. I also thought I should remove the pine and cypress and he said no he can trim them up. That they are really nice. He explained I had a pear tree in the shade that would not be bearing fruit. That the small buds drop off and the rodents come. He said he would not charge me to take it down but I said it was ok the birds like it. He complimented me on the oak tree and was greatful I didn't want it cut down. Brandon and his crew showed up the next day and started work. They are very skilled at climbing trees and cutting off branches without having them fall or swing all over. They do a very controlled cutting process. They cleaned up and wanted to rake up all the leaves to haul away for no charge. Believe me there are a lot of leaves on this lot. I declined but thanked him. They did a great job of cleaning up the cut branches and work very fast. One of the crew was in the oak tree for 3 hours trimming. He had quoted $2,000 but only charged me $1700. Brandon is a very personable polite person. I am glad I found somebody who really appreciates trees and knows all about them. He is bonded, has insurance and is a licensed contractor. Very polite individual. He had to return to trim the cherry because they were short one person. He kept apologizing even though it didn't matter to me. As promised his crew returned and trimmed the cherry. I also like that he uses email in addition to the phone."

Despite being one of a homeowners greatest fears, termite infestation does not receive the attention from the government, the construction industry and the pest control industry necessary to eliminate the problem. Education is the key to eliminating termite infestation. Homeowners need to be informed and take an active role in protecting their homes from termite infestation. They should not rely solely on a builder or a pest control company to make critical decisions about how their home is protected. The consequences of not making the best choices for your biggest investment could be devastating and lead to financial ruin. We treat every house as if it was our own. Termite treatments, if done properly, can be expensive. Remember, if your looking for a cut-rate price youll get a cut-rate service."\nAt Home Services 24-7 our approach is to take the most enlightened approach to termite control and to consider each home and infestation individually, and to be prepared to mount a multi-faceted counterattack on the pests invading your house, including steps to discourage termites from living around your home. Home Services 24-7 often use the analogy of having a toolbox, meaning different techniques, technologies, and approaches for controlling termites. We fully explain all possible approaches, including combining liquid soil termiticides and baits, if it seems appropriate. And Home Services 24-7 technicians are certified licensed and credentialed. We also do cleaning services for all part of your home.\n

"Their work was very professional and courteous. The perimeter drain involved a lot of jackhammering, and hauling buckets of concrete/rubble out, as well as mixing bags of concrete and hauling many bags of concrete. All *very* labor intensive. While on the worksite, they accidentally struck three sewer lines, and performed repairs. Some of these repairs required extra work, which we negotiated to my satisfaction with their supervisor before the job was complete. The drain itself has been in place for one full year now, and has certainly prevented my basement from flooding at least 5 times this winter. I can hear the drain pipe discharging into the sump well when we are at flood stage. The pump, drain, and discharge work all as expected, except for one caveat. The bid was for a complete perimeter drain along the basement cold seam, except where the basement fireplace is located. It terminates at both sides. When receiving the bid, I asked if that was going to be a problem, he said no - there was sufficient drainage to intercept any water on either side of the fireplace. Later that season, I contacted Permadry because we noticed visible wet spots on either side of the fireplace in the few inches between the fireplace and the end of the drains. This, and the continued efflorescence in the brick meant that we had a moisture issue on the fireplace. Upon contacting them, they told me that they do not do fireplace work. I reminded them that they stood by a lifetime guarantee for their work. They reminded me that it doesn't include fireplaces. So, I have minor water intrusion next to my fireplace that they were unwilling to inspect or troubleshoot. But my basement isn't flooding. Later that Spring, when conducting a sewer repipe under the house, we uncovered debris (cast iron and rubble) that had gone into one of punctured sewer pipes, and had traveled 8 feet. The unforseen work is always unforseen. However, my pipe repairs could have been problematic. During our repipe, we re-laid all the pipe Permadry repaired. And, while their repairs were serviceable, they were not done as a plumber would have and could have caused problems in the long term. The debris certainly would have. While this review may sound overly-critical, I am not critical of this company. I had a very large, unpleasant job and they carried it out with great professionalism. I would hire them again. Unless I can find a company that includes fireplaces in their waterproofing work."

"Chem Pros came and did the lawn aeration on Oct 22nd - that went well. They did a good job on that and the two workmen were very professional. My only complaint with that appt was in scheduling it. The company has definite communication issues and were not responsive in getting back to me or when they did, they would choose dates to come out which I had already told them were not good dates for me. Another issues was when I asked if I could change the Big Deal which in addition to the aeration, also offered lawn fertilization and over-seed. I requested that instead of the fertilization and over-seed to instead have an environmentally friendly weed control used on the clover in my grass. Even though I talked to the business owner and another person about this change and had that approved, when they came to do the aeration, the workers knew nothing about that. So they were not able to do it that day. Then it took several more phone calls to get the weed control done. On the day they were to do that, I waited for them to show up but had to go out for an hour or so in the middle of the day. I guess they came when I was not here. They insisted they had been here but when I got home there was no indication the weed control had been done, so the owner did come back out the next day and he redid it. That was very nice of him to do and I did appreciate that. But I have to say in all the times I have had to schedule work to be done here at the house, I have never had so much trouble getting an appt. scheduled. I really wish I had not used the Big Deal and just scheduled the aeration separately and looked into eco-friendly weed control that I could have done myself."

"Heard a noise in my attic  thought it was a squirrel. I've been living at this residence  since 1977 never had this problem before, I called up the 1st pest-control place I found they said they would call me back never did. So I called up plateau pest control near my home in Covington,  they answer the phone right away they said they would be out at 6:30 PM. They could  have put me off to the following day but they didn't! A young man by the name of SOKHARA came out at 7 o'clock. He was very professional, knowledgeable and polite.

He quickly evaluate the situation went up in the attic and discovered I had  a rat situation. He  Quickly went up to the roof and sealed off all  exits , checked area for any possible entry-level. After that was done he went into the attic again  and put down 7 traps . He said he would be back next week to check  Everything out. He also laid down a trap near the house, he didn't wind up leaving until 10 o'clock. I wouldn't hesitate  calling  these guys up again .  They did a great job would highly recommend them."

FAQs for termite pest control service projects in North Bend, WA

Most termite treatments protect your home for one to two years. Once the chemicals break down, colonies can move back in, so schedule a follow-up application before that window closes. Many pros offer ongoing service plans, but it’s smart to wait a few months to confirm the first round worked before you sign a contract.

If your property sees repeat infestations, ask about a termite bond—an annual agreement that often covers both inspections and any additional treatments.

Drilling into the concrete foundation around your home is not always necessary for termite treatment. While drilling can be highly effective in exterminating subterranean termite colonies, there are alternative methods that work well for termite control.

Drilling is safer than applying ground-level chemicals, which can be hazardous for children and pets, but a thorough termite treatment plan can be achieved without drilling. Consult with a termite professional to determine the best treatment method for your situation.

DIY termite treatment is possible, but its effectiveness in eliminating termite colonies is far inferior to that of professional treatment. DIY methods address only very minor infestations and do not guarantee complete termite control.

A professional termite inspection accurately determines the infestation’s extent, and expert treatments—whether chemical or bait systems—ensure that all termite activity is eradicated and the structure is protected.

The best termite treatment is determined by the termite species, the infestation size, and your budget. Liquid termiticide applied to soil is an effective method for eliminating termites, while termite bait systems provide controlled management.

For severe infestations, gas fumigation or heat tenting delivers thorough extermination solutions. A professional inspection guarantees that the proper treatment is selected to completely eradicate termite activity and secure your home.
