"I called Lisco, and they came out within two weeks, and fixed the back yard, driveway and the front yard. They were able to close off the line to the pool. The conduit went from my house to the filter approximately 30 feet. The line for the irrigation system was pulled out the same distance. They explained every thing that they were going to do with the lines so that I understood and agreed. Extremely honest and professional. I've been using them for three years now. Lessons learned from a new pool owner. Have your irrigation system re-routed before you have the pool installed. I thought I lost the system."

"Jason (owner of Grow & Mow) along with his crew, has <br /> been performing our fall and spring clean up for a few years now and he has <br /> always shown us such incredible customer service and hard work.  This year?s fall clean up we needed some <br /> extra work done regarding the overgrown bushes/brush along our yard.  It was a tricky area with the fact of wanting <br /> a wooded barrier between our yard and our neighbor?s yard and Jason handled it <br /> beautifully.  He was able to sculpt the cut back to allow room for the edging of the new lawn plus used his <br /> talents/knowledge to really keep that privacy factor intact.  He knew what branches to take and what areas <br /> to leave that really showed his landscaping skills.  We were very happy with the results.  He also was able to transfer a large amount of stone from the yard?s play area to the pool area and did so without disturbing <br /> the pool?s already designed layout.  He further had great ideas as to how to use the stone to improve other areas of <br /> the yard as well.  We will definitely continue to use Jason ? he really handles and performs our needs as if they were his <br /> own.  <br /> <br /> <br />"

"The technician that I spoke with was very knowledgeable and he was very helpful. They always came when they said they would. The cost is expensive. It just seems that every time they turn around, they have to do something else which adds to what you have already paid for which is the problem. It is not just them. I think it is the industry. They catch you with just feeding the lawn then they have to do this care and that care. It is one bill on top of the other. Because my lawn is just starting to come back after a very bad situation, I would just go with the regular lawn care not all the added stuff, but it was kind of getting pricey. So, I am kind of up there. I kind of shelled out now about $500. They have different technicians who do different things."

"We started using Greenwave about 3 or 4 years ago for routine grass cutting every other week, and were very happy with them.  Then the last couple of years they got more and more expensive, with not as good service. The fall cleanup estimated charge was over the top ($300), so we stopped having them do that, but did continue with routine lawn care.  They did not always come on the day they were supposed to.    We leave our dogs in the yard, but since we didn't always know when they would come (so as to leave them inside that day), we had  asked them to make sure the dogs were on the screened porch with the porch door closed when they came. The first few years they were very good about that. This year they were not - the dogs would be loose in the yard while they worked, and a few times the gate was left partly open. <br />   We continued to use them as the service was adequate but not great, but today was the last straw. They had apparently sent us a bill e-mail in October, which we never got - or if we did it got lost in the shuffle. Fine, such things happen - and they should have sent a courteous reminder. But they didn't. We got no reminders email or regular mail, until today when we got a nasty letter from them threatening to take us to court if we didn't pay the bill. We paid it, but felt that this was really inappropriate business practice - a simple courteous reminder is the normal way to do business.  (As I said, we are not aware of getting any email bills from them that we did not pay.)   <br />   In any case their service got worse, their prices got higher, and their carelessness with the dogs and the gate are good enough reason for us to look elsewhere next year. <br />"

FAQs for lawn and garden sprinkler system installation projects in North Dartmouth, MA

While drip irrigation systems have higher upfront costs, they can save you money in the long run. By delivering water directly into the soil with minimal evaporation and runoff, drip irrigation systems conserve water and improve efficiency. This means better performance and results for your landscaping, and cost savings over the system's lifespan.

Yes, irrigation systems can add value to your home, especially when installed with high-quality materials and a solid design. A well-irrigated landscape enhances curb appeal and can attract potential buyers. However, poor design or installation may reduce performance and even decrease your property's value. Hiring an expert for installation and performing regular maintenance is key to securing the long-term benefits.

A local irrigation professional can help you check your drip irrigation system to make sure it's in good shape. You'll want to make sure the water pressure is in a good range, repair any leaks as soon as possible, and cover the cost to winterize your sprinkler system as recommended by your irrigation contractor.

A drip irrigation system lasts between 10 and 15 years. This lifespan is determined by the quality of materials, the precision of installation, and regular professional maintenance. Unlike traditional sprinkler systems that can last up to 50 years, the thinner piping used in drip systems is more sensitive to UV exposure and environmental wear. Proper upkeep and timely repairs enhance durability and ensure consistent irrigation performance.

Drip irrigation is best suited for plant beds, containers, greenhouses, and row crops. It supplies water directly to individual plants, ensuring precise moisture control where it is needed most. For areas with simple layouts, above-ground systems work efficiently, while subsurface installations may be cost-prohibitive in spaces with extensive tree roots or irregular terrain. Proper planning maximizes the benefits of drip irrigation across a variety of applications.
