"We ended up going to another place first, We were going to go with them, ONLY because I didn't know about Marrett....I called my mom who told me to go check this company out. We went and were met by Marian. She was SO patient and educated on what would work for us. She showed us the flooring we ended up going with, BUT, I was being stubborn from Pinteresting too much...Enter my mom, she came with me the second time and pointed out the same flooring Marian showed us....and started the motherly "You won't regret this flooring" And Marian gave me the information on the flooring and I started to fall in love more and more. She let me take it home to see it on our flooring and we love it SO much, once our remodel is done, we will be doing our bedrooms in the same flooring. Yes, it IS a bit more expensive, BUT, I have bought from Lowes and Home Depot my whole life and I've always had issues and ended up spending the same amount with repairs and ripping flooring out to redo it. The extra few bucks on this company (it also depends on your choice, we went higher end) is WORTH IT!!! We are going to be doing our kitchen and we are going there for our counter tops and we are also getting carpet from them in our living room, THAT is how satisfied my husband and I are with this company. DO NOT waste time at Home Depot, Lowes, Menards, etc .Go to a reputable company, Marrett won't disappoint you."

"Mike in sales was great to work with. He did everything to make sure we got our carpet really quick. The installers were 'ok'. Two younger guys that were really chatty with each other, sometimes loud, and they really didn't seem to care what they said. Helped themselves to my restroom which wasn't ok in my book. But, I do realize that good workers are hard to find and it could've been alot worse. I'm happy with the whole process even though I already stepped on a tack strip nail poking through......."

"Our home is 150+ years old. The kitchen floor was original, plank pine. It was very warped and uneven. We have a gas stove, with the gas line running up through the floor, and a 700 pound radiator which had to be moved, and tile cut around the pipes coming up through the floor. A cement base and hardy board was installed before they installed the actual tile. <br /> The tile installers were very professional, arriving promptly each morning. They were great about answering my many questions about the new flooring, future care, etc. They did an excellent job of leveling out our floor and trimming our doors and plinth blocks to accommodate the new flooring. The tile was perfectly cut, where needed and laid in a proper pattern in doorways and around the edges of the room. Everything was completely cleaned up when the job was finished. <br /> I would recommend Flooring Expressions by Greg Thomas. I am already planning a bathroom remodel and intend to use their services again!! <br /> <br />"

That being said, we would not have hesitated to go elsewhere if we did not feel that we were getting excellent service. We have always found the salespeople and installers to be professional, prompt, and work until the job is complete. At one point, we had a problem with one of our windows which was repaired at no cost to us, even though it was several years after installation. Joe treats each job, big or small, like it is being done on his own home. We will continue to buy at South One whenever possible. <br />"
