"Dennis and his crew did an excellent job, but I feel he overcharged me a bit for the chimney cap installation. The cost of installing a chimney cap in the Tampa Bay area runs from $175.00 to $250.00. Dennis charged me $250.00 to install a $40.00 chimney cap. When I asked Dennis why the installation cost was at the top of the price range, he said: There are fees associated with running the operation: shipping, consumables, labor, transportation, fuel, payroll, and the list goes on. My price is right in line with the chimney sweeps in the area. His crew certainly knew what they were doing, and I would probably use his services again. My only objection is that the cost of installing the chimney cap was at the top of the high range for that job. Dennis could have chosen to install a more expensive chimney cap for what he charged me."

"I was given a quote for installing vinyl siding around my home. It was well within the reasonable rate so I scheduled the work with the company. The workers showed up on time on the days they scheduled. They were clean cut and professional while I was on the site. They cleaned up after themselves each day and didn't "rush" through the job. The vinyl seems to be of good quality. The work was completed on schedule and I am pleased with the result. The total came to the estimated amount which made me very happy!"

"The job was quoted as removing 8 existing windows and replacing with new aluminum framed hurricane impact windows.  I got a quote from John Hull, Home Depot and Lowes.  Hull was the least expensive.  When quoting the job, the rep did not notice that my existing window frames were stucco'ed in to the house, therefore the installer had a very hard time taking them out.  The amount of time they were on the job was probably double the time expected.  Still, all was done professionally and no one tried to negotiate a new price. <br />"

"Tom responded promptly that they were interested and that he would either get me a quotes based on pictures or that he could swing by to take a look.  As the job is pretty straightforward, I asked him to quote based on pictures.  It was the weekend, so a quote was sent on Tuesday.  Unfortunately, the quote was very high in my opinion based on the skill and time that would be required to complete this job.  Also, based on several other quotes by other handymen services, an electrician, and what the "Big-Box" stores charge for installation of this appliance,  it was high.  <br /> Tom is very professional and responsive, and he even called to follow-up after I did not send a response after receiving the quote.  They have not actually performed services for me, so I can not comment on the quality of their work, just my experience in dealing with them and the price quoted.  Possibly the price was out of proportion because the job is relatively small and they are not as local to Cape Coral as some of the other contractors.  I have dual bathroom remodels and several other jobs that need to be completed, but I would hesitate to have them quote it based on the pricing given for this preliminary job."

"I had a few issues with this service. They wouldn't disclose who they were using as a sub contractor. I wanted to know who was in my home and I didn't appreciate the fact that they didn't disclose that information to me. Additionally I felt like they did a lackluster job re insulating the attic. To me it seemed that they just moved the insulation around, rather than adding more. What I will say is that the subcontractor they used to repair the chimney did a good job. Overall however, the experience was not a good one."

"This project was started in April of 2012 and finished in Jan of 2013. Bill knew our schedule and used it as a filler while doing other jobs. <br /> It caused some anxiety because we did want to see progress. The house was completed in time for our return, so all was well with the world. <br /> The architect we used was a disaster, and Bill was required to make many trips to the architect for corrections. I commend him for all the frustration encountered with incomplete drawings and gross errors. <br /> Bill's work was very professional. The workmanship was outstanding. I have contructed items up to a 12 by 24 saltbox shed and come from a family of contractors. I am more than pleased with the outcome. Bill sent many pictures to update us throughout the process.He kept an eye on other projects we had going at the same time and alerted us to errors in those projects. <br /> Bill did all of the contruction and used subs for electrical, plumbing, A/C etc. The subs ranged from good to excellent. <br /> He was very cooperative when we requested changes and worked through them with us. <br /> Interior painting and finishing is top rate. The house was left clean and ready to move into. <br /> I would definitely use Bill on an future project. <br /> <br />"

"The first unit was delivered in a timely manner. However, the carrier did not adhere to the shippers warnings about product fragility and the unit was received in a damaged state. The unit was sent back to Classic Copperworks for repair.  The repair was treated as a priority by Mr. Threadgill, who had the unit shipped back to me in three weeks. It arrived in good condition that time. <br /> Mr Threadgill was very helpful in providing support in order to finish our project. He even had a caulking product sent to us in order to help with flashing the unit. That meant alot. <br /> I am not a professional contractor, but was able to install the unit myself with his support. However, my profession does provide me the opportunity to serve the public and as such, I feel that I am more than qualified in commenting on good service. While Classic Copperworks may not be the cheapest provider of goods and services, they stand behind their product and provide great support. It requiress a "leap of faith" to order an expensive unit from an out-of-state provider with no prior mutual history, but I can attest to my complete satisfaction. <br /> WRS <br /> <br />"
