This sort of restoration involving baseboard trim, laminate flooring, drywall, and paint is more difficult than new construction because of the matching and blending required to make the repaired areas appear invisible. They accomplished this with a high degree of workmanship, arrived and completed the work on time, and were friendly and courteous throughout. They showed themselves to be real pros when they returned to repair damage to their work caused by the carpet installers under a separate contract, without charge. "The individual that did the consult was very knowledgeable and helpful. The work took 8 days. I would highly recommend just buying new cabinets. The mess after the sanding and install was more than I expected. Some of the cabinets were left with debris and a considerable amount of dust in them, the shelves were not sanded on the ends where they were cut, leaving splinters and the sawdust was in the stove, dishwasher, cabinets that were covered and in the adjoining room. The craftsmanship turned out nice but noticeable that the edges were resurfaced. Itâ s hard to resurface cabinets that are old. The new doors cover the refacing. I feel the pricing is way to high for this type of project."
