"Finest Fence took a lot of time working with multiple families to come up with a workable solution. Finest Fence (FF) was not the cheapest, but choose them based on reviews. We accepted FF's proposal in totality including the suggested upgrade, except for a middle or third rail. Anything missing from the scope of our job was not due to us turning it down. While installing the new gate, the workers got spray paint on the house (pic). Awkward transition from the gate to the connecting fence. The problem was fixed, see the before and after pic. Did not connect the new fence to the old section of fence. The problem was fixed, see before picture. They removed cinder blocks that were preventing soil erosion on the slope between my house and our neighbor's house with new boards. The new boards do were unsightly and do not prevent erosion."

"The project went very well, especially considering the steep slope in out back yard where the fence was going.  The estimator came out and gave us a reasonable estimate and an availability that fit our schedule.  <br /> <br /> When the installation crew arrived, they got right to work removing the old fence without damaging the flower borders.  All posts were cemented in place and everything was checked so it was straight.  There were a couple of points of confusion between the estimators plans and the crew's understanding of the project - but they were very flexible and modified the design on the spot. <br /> <br /> <br />"

It would have to be an exact match, color and type, or else it would not look right. Well, let me tell you he and his crew did an incredible job. "I called Good Neighbor to see if they could fix a bad contractor's metal work on my gate.  After describing my problem, Alan Kelly asked that I email pictures so he could assess the problem.  He called me back immediately, diagnosed the problem, and advised me to hire a handyman with metal working skills since the problem was actually easier than I predicted, which would be a more practical and cost effective option. <br /> Sounds like a small thing, but there are many contractors out there who wouldn't even have bothered to call back once they knew the job was too small, or even worse, who would have seen this as an opportunity to fleece someone...to do minor work and overcharge a customer who doesn't know any better.  Alan took great pains to not only investigate my problem, but he followed through and called me back to explain the solution, and made sure I understood the details of how to proceed.   <br /> I would absolutely hire Good Neighbor for any future work because honesty, integrity and professionalism are so rare nowadays.
