"We had our 100 year old oak wood floors refinished which hadn't been done for 25 years or so. Very professional, clean, did an amazing job, on time, easy to work with. The workers had to come back a second time to put another coat of (sealer?) on top because we noticed it was scratching very easily, but after they did that, we haven't had a problem. They also came back a third time to replace all of our molding (cut and stained it) which they didn't do the first time (and unfortunately wasn't part of the bid), but we were ok with that. The price was reasonable."

Javier and his crew earlier this year repaired a section of our original hardwood floors that were missing after we remove a pony wall in our home’s living room. "I am grateful for Scott Schneider of Olde Tyme Floor Company for solving a mystery! I have just had engineered wood flooring installed in my home, (by a general contractor, not a specialized flooring contractor like Scott - mistake #1!) and couldn't understand why I didn't like the finished result!!! So I reached out to Olde Tyme to refinish my BRAND NEW FLOORS (I know - crazy!) Scott immediately diagnosed the problem and, thankfully, it was fixable! - The installer that I used (not Scott) didn't properly clean up after installation, which left a very visible and unsightly gluey "haze" - a film over the entire project, which wouldn't come off with regular wood-floor cleaner. There were even foot prints (presumably glue) from the installers' shoes! Scott very kindly, on his off hours, detailed the steps I needed to take to fix the problem - namely, insisting that the original installer return and properly clean the entire floor. ***I would absolutely hire Olde Tyme Floor Co.to install any future floors. Scott is solid and above board (no pun intended) is really communicative and personable and really knows his business! Oh, how I wish I used Olde Tyme Floor Co.!!! "Beau and his crew installed a new prefinished wood floor in my dining room, entry way, living room and family room. In a few short years, the floor is scratched, dented and floor boards are loose. We have contacted them more times than I can count. Most of the time there is never a call back or when an appointment is set a no show. This is not the way a business should be run. I would think twice about hiring them. I know I am in the minority, but truth is truth. UPDATE: Beau contacted us and his crew came out promptly completing all necessary repairs."
