"I hired them to install a fence to match my neighbors existing fence. The existing fence was installed by a company called Clover. The attention to detail and perfection exhibited by Nimmer Co out shines the other company by miles. They took great care not to destroy my grass by placing plywood down as they drive their equipment around. I wish I could post comparison photos but the dumb site only allows for 5mb worth of pictures. So here is one showing how straight the fence is. Look how perfectly in line that is."

"The project went very well! Marvin gave us a solid quote under $4000 that included a return visit in July to apply a seal coat over the patio. The crew came in mid April and completed the project in 2 days. The work was done in a way that did not damage our existing grass and/or beds. In fact they included moving one our beds in the final cost. We continue to be very pleased with Marvin and his courteous, knowledgeable crew. We highly recommend Marvin Pavers!"

"I was so delighted with the work done by Kirch Improvements! After looking at all the truly gorgeous projects they've completed, at first I feared that my request for a simple grade level pressure treated deck -- basically a 'floor' for my yard -- would be too small for them to consider. Everything about the work, from Jaci's prompt and professional communication to John's beautiful work, was top-notch! They wrapped my new 'floor' around my hot tub, and extended my small 10x12 existing platform, adding another 380 square feet. I am extremely pleased with the results. My neighbors, who observed more of the work being done than I did, were equally impressed, and asked for contact information. No fuss, no muss -- everything went off smoothly and on schedule."

"Andiry came out a couple of times.  I finally decided to do concrete (I had been debating on whether to replace with landscaping blocks).  its about 40 feet long, 3 feet wide, needed to be pitched correctly, and the old walkway had to come out.  Andiry came out on a Saturday (on time) to write the contract, and started work 2 days later.  It was done 5 days later.  It looks great, and the work site was cleaned up.  there is a bit of a language barrier, but it's easy to work through.

"Mr. Sullivan brought an assistant and they cleaned our Appleton 2-story Victorian home's gutters and repaired a spot damaged by an ice dam in last year's severe winter. They were pleasant and professional. I would recommend them for this work and will be calling them soon for another gutter cleaning.

"From start to finish it went about as long as they said it would which is good. Nick wasn't as proactive at being in touch as I would have liked so we had to be proactive to get updates throughout the process (when the next step was, when they were coming out, etc). Unfortunately, either due to me not communicating well or Nick not remembering me say it some plants were killed that shouldn't have been. It wasn't a big deal and he did fix it by planting new ones in its place. However, I feel like it wasn't a given and the blame was put more on me than the company.
Otherwise on the major work day of rolling out the sod it went well; the workers worked hard and were nice. They maybe played their music a bit louder than our neighbors would have liked but we didn't get any formal complaints.
In the end we were very happy with the transformation of our yard. They did do a very good job and Nick went above and beyond doing more tree trimming than he said he would. The only last downside is we were promised an email with lawn treatment information which we never received. The lawn has held up pretty well at least.

"These guys worked their butts off to do a quality job. They are dependable and knowledgeable. We hired them to lay a grouted stone patio and later to remove overgrown bushes. Work was completed as promised and for the quoted price."

FAQs for chain link fence repair or alter projects in North-lake, WI

Installing a concrete reinforcement slab significantly boosts the stability and longevity of your chain link fence. This reinforcement creates a strong foundation that protects the fence from erosion, burrowing animals, and high winds. The installation cost is $4 to $10 per square foot, and this robust base minimizes the need for future repairs while extending the overall lifespan of your fence.

Repairing minor damage such as small holes is far more cost‑effective than replacing significant portions of your chain link fence. Minor repairs cost between $100 and $200, while replacing full sections demands an investment of $1,000 to $2,000. For a fence that is 20 years old or older, having an expert assess it now can prevent repeated repair expenses and secure long‑term durability, thereby safeguarding overall fence performance.

If you'd rather remove your chain link fence than repair or replace it, professionals charge between $3 and $5 per linear foot for the job. There may be additional costs involved if there is extra labor needed, like relocating plants or separating the chain-link fence from other existing structures. This also does not include waste disposal fees.

Chain link fences have an average lifespan of 20 years with regular cleaning and maintenance. They stand out as one of the most affordable and durable fencing options available to homeowners and businesses alike. Chain link fences often last five to 10 years longer than comparable wooden fence installations. Chain-link fences made with a vinyl coating often exceed these estimates, providing even greater longevity and weather resistance.
