"The first red flag is representing himself as Steve Perez on Angi’s list when in fact his name is Ziv. There’s the hard sell and false promises (finish a kitchen remodel in 5-6 weeks) when it took 4 months. Unprofessionalism is an understatement. He communicates through texting like a teenager and screams at the client when in fact errors are his fault or his sub-contractors. We provided appliance specs very early in the process and the electrician still made errors for which Ziv wanted us to pay for. The cabinets delivered were incomplete which he blamed on us. He demanded a final payment and threatened to put a lean on our house when the work was incomplete per the contract. Then Subs starting calling demanding payment which was resolved after we provided cashed checks to Sonart Construction. Don’t believe what I say. Read the BBB review complaints for a well-deserved F rating."

"Although we did reach a resolution for $100: Met, Hired George 10/01/24. I Provided house Survey. Deposit $2625 charged 10/30/24. Asked if job could be done before Oct 11th. Said he'll get on job right away. Will be at City Hall tomorrow. It is now END OF JAN 2025, I go to city, get truth. Oct 16th permit review application submit, Janis, $50. Oct 17th Engineering & Zoning reject, missing Impervious Drainage Calculations, ROW Permit & max. width driveway can't exceed 30% of lot & confirm double driveway will not exceed 18ft. Oct 24th by email George is notified of rejection, needs corrections. Nov 12th, George submits corrections to Manny, reviewer. (WAITS till Dec 10th for Zoning corrections to Andrea.) WHY HE WAIT A MONTH? WHY WAS I NOT UPDATED? WHY WAS I NOT TOLD it's $1k more to hire ENGINEER from beginning. HE'S GOT 25 YRS EXPERIENCE, kept telling me.
