"Excellent attention to detail and excellent craftsmanship. Charlie designed built in cabinets with new windows for both sides of our fireplace and after the initial design completed, we decided to try to get our TV mounted above the stone fireplace even though it was not initially agreed upon. Not an easy endeavor (20 foot natural stone fireplace--stone from floor to ceiling---not wired for it initially) but Charlie did not pressure us to rush through it. He spoke with masons, our builder, electrician, etc but ultimately designed a beautiful mantle to hide all of the wires so the TV blended in perfectly with minimal destruction Ken spent a week installing the unit, making detailed measurements for the TV and doing the finish work. His attention to detail was phenomenal. In full disclosure that I only gave the price a B because we did get 2 other quotes that were cheaper----but with that being said we did not feel comfortable trusting the scope of this project to anyone else but Charlie after speaking with him. It was a patient, well designed, well run, top notch job---well worth the cost"

"We had a difficult space and some very strong opinions on what we wanted. We were originally going to design the kitchen ourselves but decided to reach out to Village for a quote. Jane Scammon went very far out of her way to design a kitchen that perfectly suited our needs. Jane payed close attention to the details that we felt were important for to make the space perfect for us, while very gently steering us away from several major mistakes that we would have made on our own. She was always there when we had questions and made a fairly complex kitchen design go off without a hitch. She was very flexible and even helped us integrate our floor, counter and lighting options with the cabinet design. We weren’t quite ready to install when the cabinets arrived, so Village had kept them in climate controlled storage for several days. They also helped us get our hands on specialty install tools and offered a slew of installation tips that made the cabinet install go very smoothly. The price was competitive for semi-custom cabinets. The cabinets themselves are well made, sturdy, and seem like they will last. The hinges and drawer slides are far superior to any others we’ve seen; removing and adjusting the drawers and cabinet doors is a breeze. Everything that was delivered – cabinets, crown molding, end panels, toe kicks – all showed up in perfect condition, square and well-painted. The only exception was one door that was slightly warped (reasonable for a door that size), and Jane took care of that for us immediately. We’re thrilled with our new kitchen. The new design lends itself to a much more efficient and natural user flow and significantly better use of space. Jane was able to design the cabinets and trim in a way that is far more beautiful than we had imagined."
