"I had a small roof leak. I got a few estimates, Excaliber was the lowest although they had a disclaimer that the bill could be higher if they found wood rot. They did find a small amount and there was a small extra charge but I think it was fair. I would definitely use them again after some bad past experiences with roofers, it's nice to find an honest and professional company."

I'm glad I did. Jimmy, who estimated the job for me, was knowledgeable and gave me an approximate time frame for completion (1-2 weeks). This was an important aspect since closing was scheduled to happen in 3 weeks. After I put down my 1/3 deposit, they ended up having am opening in the schedule and were able to replace the roof within a week's time. The work took less than a day and the crew worked well. They took pictures and provided me with the invoice & warranty documentation I needed for closing. Invoicing and everything else behind the scenes was handled via email with the office manager. He was also very pleasant to work with and provided great customer service when I need the additional documents/info for settlement. Overall, the quality of work and customer service was exceptional. If in the future, my new home needs some roofing work, I would happily use Ocean Seven Builders again."

"not that great. basically paid $99 to get an estimate. included cleaning roof and minimal repairs. took a while to get appointment, and then when they came, they didn't even do the work! gave a really big estimate and then re-seheduled to have someone else do the work. they wouldn't totally replace the roof, gave different estimates to repair, I went with a different company to do a full roof rplacement."

Most other companies I called said they were so backed up with work that they couldn't even come out to do an estimate for fixing the leak before the next rains were forecast. Frank from Seal Tight came the day after I called, and fixed the problem that same day. He was courteous and professional, and gave me a discount for Angie's List membership. He showed me before and after pictures of the problem areas, and explained clearly what needed to be done. Although I didn't go on the roof to judge the quality of the work (and wouldn't have known what to look for anyway :-), there is a 1-year guarantee on material and labor, and I feel confident that any potential issue would be handled."

"I contacted AP Roofing to get an estimate and Sean in the office scheduled the estimate with Asher Paz. Asher arrived at the time and day that was scheduled and as promised, the estimate was free and Asher emailed the estimate to me on the same day. I signed the contract on a Tuesday and Asher scheduled the work to begin on the following Monday. He told me that the workers would arrive at 7 am, and sure enough they did. He also got the permit on that Monday and scheduled the inspections. I was happily surprised that the permitting went so smoothly, because another vendor told me that it would take a few weeks for the permitting process. This might be because the other vendor had a General Contractor's license, but AP Roofing has an actual Roofing license. The work took 3 1/2 days and permit passed the final inspection without any issues. The workers cleaned up the area at the end of each day. Both Asher and the Project Manager, David, were very easy to work with and they answered all my questions and were very patient."

If there was something that I wanted changed they were quick to accommodate. They are the top roofer in the Antelope Valley."
