"Ziebart Construction did a good job on our kitchen remodel and new floors. The process was fast, organized, and everything looks beautiful. They weren’t the cheapest quote, but we liked Matt and we felt comfortable him. There were some issues with communication on both sides. With the remodel, we weren’t happy with the layout of the semi-custom cabinets. The CAD drawings were 2-D so we couldn’t “see” how the cabs would look installed. The virtual tour would have helped, but we had to pay extra to replace & modify some cabinets. We ended up paying about the same price as full custom cabinets (+ $1000.00 more). The quality of all the cabinets were very good. To be fair, Matt was being careful as the virtual tour would have put us over budget as his quote was already at our max. He let us go over budget later when we asked with reasonable terms so we could get the fixes & extras done. For the consumer: Buy the $500 virtual tour if you’re getting new cabinets. Make sure you're prepared before each meeting. Study the contracts and be clear about what you want & what you think you’re getting before you sign it. Do this via email before Matt comes over, he won’t have time to make changes onsite. We did LOTS of extra demo, prep, cleanup, purchases, & design decisions hoping to reduce the cost of the project. In the end, the price was the same as quoted which was disappointing but it does look beautiful. Keep an eye on the work as you go. The trades people are busy too and they don’t read minds. If you don’t like something; talk to Matt or Rick and they’ll fix it. *Note: When the final bill came in, the project did cost less than my math said it should be. I suspect that Matt may have reduced the remaining bill for the fixes/add-ons a little to fit my max monthly payment ability we talked about earlier. I think this speaks to the character of who he is and that’s another reason why we’ll use & recommend Ziebart Construction again despite the hiccups."

For our primary bathroom, they completely redid it, including fashioning new walk in closets, a huge walk in shower and free standing tub. "Miguel was very quite and polite. There was absolutely no pressure or attempt to beguile me into a deeper project. His crew was respectful as well. They played their music at a low volume not disrupting myself or neighbors. This has been a problem with other work crews in my neighborhood. Miguel did exactly what he said he would do. He even installed 2 new roof vents for no additional cost. He was on schedule and was successfully in and out of the project. He did not claim to know it all yet had the confidence as some one who does. My snap shot of him was a very polite, professional, well manner, and balanced individual. The roof repair he and his crew did tied into the existing roof as if there had been no damage to begin with. Other roofers tried to sell me an entire roof replacement. Me, knowing what I know, knew this to be false. People, what I have said here is true. A very reputable roofing company tried to sell me an entire teardown and replacement. They could not guarantee that their crew was good enough to repair 3 areas without potential leaking. This was astonishing to me. Miguel and his crew came in and did what I knew could be done. They did it professionally, honestly, and reasonably priced. He killed me with love but backed it up with a job well done. This is the first review iv"e ever written. I have no regrets in hiring Miguel. You'll see what I mean when you speak then meet with him. Yes, I give a 100% recommendation for Miguel and his crew.
