"Long story short, hire Raindrop Roofing NW if you have a roofing job you need done right, consistent with manufacturer’s instructions. By contrast: the outfit that replaced the roof on our Dutch Colonial for the previous owners cut corners on the steep mansard slopes. As a result, the new roof which should have lasted 25 years, started failing in three. (I’ve been repairing drooping shingles ever since and have had to learn more about roofing than I ever envisioned or desired.) A few years back we hired a local company with an Angie’s List A-rating to re-shingle the problem slopes, but we had to let them go when we caught them taking the same shortcuts that caused the first roof to fail. Their excuse: the manufacturer’s instructions were excessive. (Yet these were the same instructions they had previously agreed to follow.) It’s worth noting that roofing product warranties are almost always dependent on installation consistent with manufacturer’s instructions. Nonetheless, it took several years to find another company that would agree in writing to do so at an uninflated price. Given the above experiences, we worked closely with Raindrop and watched their work with an eagle eye. They did everything we asked for and beyond! This included making extensive improvements to the roof’s ventilation, especially in the steep mansard regions. Further, the Taylor Metal standing-seam system they applied to the garage and patio looks and functions great. Their final price was consistent with their estimate, and right where it should have been given the size of our house and the materials requested. (Unlike many of their competitors, Raindrop doesn’t gouge the homeowner for requesting standing-seam metal in addition to composite roofing.) Bottom line: next time you’re walking down a street in Portland, look for the abundant tell-tale signs of roof repairs – visible patches of replacement shingles. It’s perhaps not surprising that in this sustained building boom, quality installation at a fair price is hard to come by. I'm happy to report Raindrop is the welcome exception."

"Redbird roofing was the only company that actually sent a roofer to figure out my leak problem. Taylor listened, wasn’t pushy, got up on the roof and took his time trying to see where the leak was coming from, he was kind and considerate, and didn’t push me to replace my entire roof. Amber who runs their office was just as considerate. I will definitely get an estimate from them first when I replace my whole roof. Too bad other companies don’t combine kindness with integrity."

"My experience with Aylwin Construction was 5 stars. They did the job in just three days and added copper-beaded shingles for moss control for only $100 more. Alywin's Crews were on time and cleaned up as they went, provided protection for our plantings, and did a complete sweep for nails and other debris when finished. My family is looking forward to having Aylwin do a full replacement this year or next with a full Tesla Roof. I was completely surprised to read the recent review regarding the quality of work done by Aylwin Construction at a local condominium. Over the past 20 years, as an owner of one of Portland’s larger boutique industrial real estate firms, I have recommended Aylwin Construction to my biggest and best real estate investors. Making a poor recommendation would reflect poorly on me and my company. I have recommended Aylwin Construction to friends with structurally difficult Mid-Century solid deck roofs, large REIT buildings throughout Oregon and Washington, medium Family-owned apartments, and my own family members for roof cleaning, on Mt. Hood, new gutter systems, and full roof replacements and repairs. Multi-million-dollar Multi-Family jobs have been completed Professionally and on time without fail. Aylwin their own fleet of dumpsters and roof cranes that protect the property, speed up projects, and reduce on-the-job injuries. "Great job start to finish. Answered all our questions, and the new roof looks great. Had a minor issue with the subcontractor who did our new gutters, owner came in person and resolved the issues very quickly. Happy to recommend this company!"

"I am very happy that I chose Jose Bayardo and his brother Thomas to install my new roof and skylights. The work was very well done. Jose took the time to explain their approach, what they found as they removed the previous roof (cement tiles), and what they would accomplish each day. They worked with me on placement of the skylights (I changed my mind a few times). And the interior finish work (dry wall and texturing) was very well done. I highly recommend Jose J Bayardo Roofing."

"My wife and I contracted with Cobex Construction Group to make improvements, upgrades and repairs to our home in the Ridgewiew Neighborhood El Dorado Hills. The house is a one of one design by the architect owner that we have owned for 4 years. My review will be in several parts because the projects will take time during the winter months. I can't say enough good things about their estimating and contracting process, workmanship and follow up on all aspects of the work. From the beginning, getting an initial estimate and many discussions about what would look best from design through construction was informative and excellent. Everything was covered, no guess work and full disclosure if there were issues spotted and how we wanted to proceed. The project consisted of updating the kitchen with new Quartzite surfaces and some appliances. The Quartzite is a natural stone from Brazil and the backslash is glass subway tile that we purchased from Bedrosians. We had the electrical switches and plugs updated with Legrand Adorna. A new Sharp drawer microwave, Bosch dishwasher and a GE Profile cook top hood. The microwave required cabinet modifications and the hood required cutting the stone surround to fit the vent which it was done perfectly. The cabinet modifications were completed with precision and even the touch up paint for the farm house cabinets matched perfectly. Our kitchen had solid granite counter tops that were installed when the house was new, 2001. The counter tops had seams in the granite that went through the sinks and were not level or really match up. The COBEX crew came in an put down heavy duty paper to protect our Hickory floors. They put up a sheet plastic wall around the kitchen to keep the dust from going into the dining area and family room. They removed all of the granite counter tops, the island and back splash behind the cook top. Afterward, everything was spotlessly vacuumed up and taken away. Next they put down new plywood counter top base and backer board for the tile back splash, nearly 70 SQ feet. They made all of their templates and off to the fabricator. The fabricator returned and removed more of the stone surround for the cook top and one wall cabinet. He had fabricated the counters all, without any seams. He and his crew worked tirelessly to fit these huge pieces in perfectly. FYI. The quartzite is a very hard natural stone and it took extra time to cut and shape. The tile setter did an amazing job with the glass subway tile and moving the electrical boxes to a high level on the wall. It sparkles and looks fantastic."

"Our experience with the sales team, (Drew and Arron), was great. However, when the job was done, Imperial Roofing who was contacted by DaBella, took 2 sheets of our plywood worth $130 and a 2x8 worth $20. We have been trying to resolve this matter since May. All we want is a material replacement or to be refunded. How hard is that? We should not have to wait for DaBella to resolve this issue with Imperial Roofing."
