"The B & R team was a pleasure to work with through the whole process, from quote to paying after the job was done. We had heard water dripping onto a ceiling on our second floor during a heavy storm, and called several roofers for quotes. Five different companies came out, two of which wanted to replace the whole roof, and three that said it should just be repaired. During that process, several of the companies mentioned that our chimney needed repointing as well, so we added that to the job. Robert Jr. came out for B & R on a Monday after I had spoken with them on a Friday, and I had detailed quotes in my email that night for the work. They were quick to respond to questions by email, text, and phone. Once I got them the signed contract, they were in touch within the week to get the work scheduled, and had their mason and roofing team on site two weeks after I had gotten them the contract. A day and a half later, I had a beautifully repointed chimney with a cap, rotted wood around the base of the chimney replaced, perfect flashing, and a roof that no longer leaks at all. The team kept me informed throughout the process, letting me know about any issues they encountered and keeping me posted on their timelines. After they were done, they cleaned up the site completely (and even cleaned up the leaves and sticks that were in the driveway from a recent storm). The final price came in just slightly over the original quote because they had to replace more wood than they were originally expecting around the base of the chimney - it took more materials and more time than what was covered under the original estimate, but only cost a little more than the quote. All in all a great process, and I'd highly recommend Robert Jr. and the team at B & R for any roofing or chimney related work that you need."

"I was looking for someone to repair a leaky roof caused by recent winds. I met David Faraone from Cedar Valley Exteriors when he came over to look at my roof the same day I posted in Home Advisor. He gave the roof a good inspection and documented significant wind and hail damage on my roof. When my insurance adjuster inspected the roof, the adjuster agreed with David's inspection findings and I was awarded an ENTIRE BRAND NEW ROOF! From submitting my claim to having the roof completed, the entire process was so smooth I just couldn't believe it! David patiently answered all my questions. He handled all the details, including working with the insurance company directly. The materials were delivered, and one day that week the installers rolled in at 7 am. "LCT did an excellent job. They arrived right on time and had a large number of roofers--7-8 men. They worked quickly and carefully, draping the entire house and making an effort to watch out for plants (though some damage to them is inevitable). James, the salesman, recommended that we install plywood over the entire roof in order to be sure to get all the warranties on our Certainteed shingles. He showed me where they require less than a certain size maximum opening between roofing boards, and also showed me the many places in our attic where there were spaces larger than allowed. That added about $2400 to our quote, but seems like a good investment. They stripped the old roof, installed the plywood carefully over every roofing surface, shingled and cleaned up in one work day. They returned the next day to install a flat rubber roof on our porch, also very well done. While all their work was excellent, we were a bit concerned that many of the laborers traveled in the back of their vans--which had no seats or seatbelts. Nonetheless, the workers reported liking working for this company, and that they were well-treated. Luis, the owner, called us soon after to see if we were happy with the work. Nice work, LCT!"
