"We feel fortunate to have found John Robbins Flooring on Angi. From the first conversation with John’s wife Charlotte, we felt well taken care of. We knew we wanted to replace carpet with hardwood floors, but that was about it. When we met John, we knew immediately that he was the one to hire. This man knows his stuff! John and Ray did an incredible job installing our floors, paying attention to every detail. They are true craftsmen and a pleasure to do business with. If you want to hire the best to install your hardwood floors, we highly recommend John Robbins flooring."

"I can't say enough about this Father and Son's contractor team.. Alex, David and Dimitri were fabulous. The floors were refinished in 1 1/2 days. Their work is amazing and they were polite, neat and very informative about maintaining my new floor. I highly recommend them for your next project - you won't be sorry."

"They were friendly and professional. Very focused on details and making sure we were satisfied. They were flexible with scheduling and very accommodating. The floors are absolutely beautiful!!! We would readily recommend them to our friends and family!"

"I would have put 4 stars because, although the floors were done beautifully, there was some lousy communication during the process. The crew was supposed to be completely done by Thursday, so I started going about my day in the house on Friday and was unpleasantly surprised to see them show up to "finish". They also left a giant pile of trash on my lawn after completing the job (not just sawdust which I expected, but a pile of carpet padding which was not from my house). It was difficult to get in touch with anyone to get answers for a few days over the weekend. The reason I'm giving 5 stars is that, when I finally did get a response, I talked directly with Marteen the CEO, who was very apologetic about the trash and lack of communication regarding the crew's need for an extended timeline, and came by to remove the trash himself. He checked in afterwards to make sure I felt better about the whole experience. The crew actually did an amazing job on the floors and they look brand new, I just wish their mindfulness and communication during the job was a bit better. So what would have been 4 stars is definitely 5, and Marteen's effort is the reason. I've been recommending TLC since. If you want your hardwood floors to look amazing without paying through the roof, TLC is the place to go."

"I thought the price was reasonable. They were prompt and quick. They did a quick job. I plan to use them again in the future."

"Excellent. Responsive and careful attention to detail. Offered to come back if any scratches occurred. Recommended against using stain, which saved me money and actually did look far superior"

"No 2-hr. presentation to sit through. No sales-speak. Just a small contracting company bent on doing quality work for an affordable price! Start your search by calling Karol Kurkowski of KBK Construction and save yourself a lot of time. 9 times out of 10, he'll answer the phone! Who does that these days? Karol and/or Zibi were on site every day usually starting at 8:30am. Being an old house, nothing was square. It was necessary to pour a self-leveling concrete floor, which took a few days to dry. Even so, they completed the whole job, surprises and all, in under 2 weeks. Many people like tile. I'm not one of them. I wanted a MAAX 80" acrylic tub wall kit, from tub to ceiling. Who knew that it would be so difficult to find a contractor to install it? I'm so grateful that Karol agreed to and did a fine job. Besides doing quality work for a reasonable price, they were a pleasure to work with - always polite and conscientious, and cleaning up at the end of each day."

"He did an excellent job, he contained the dust, and the floor looks beautiful. He was very professional, covid requirements were always in place, and he was a really nice guy. His skillset was excellent and I would highly recommend him to my family and friends. I would definitely hire him again."

"A&W hung two sets of doors for me in the basement, and put in new skirting on my stairs (to cover ugly skirting that was revealed when I switched from carpeted stairs to wood). Their work was top-notch."
