Bill replaced siding, installed new plywood and Tyvec, painted my house and deck, built a new front porch, repaired and built new features on my back deck, eliminated rot, installed new gutters, re-insulated my basement, and even fixed a closet door in my house. "Don, the salesman, was pleasant, well-informed and very helpful. We are in a Portland historic district and he provided all the needed material for approval. There was a delay in the installation due to a hurricane in the south. After resetting the installation appointment, the installation was done in 2 1/2 days. The installers were polite, helpful and very efficient. They did have some installation problems with the size of some windows, but contacted the company owner who gave the go ahead to complete their work by the next morning. When finished everything was cleaned up and all questions were answered. The Window Source is an excellent company and I highly recommend it."

"I gave "responsiveness" a bit of a lower grade because there were some lapses in communication early in the process. But once I knew what the holdup had been (permits from town, etc.), it was a bit more understandable. I'd advise reaching out to the client to let them know the scoop. Aside from that, we are thrilled with the roof, railing and stairs Aaron and his cohort (I've forgotten his name) built for us. The two of them are great guys and I felt very comfortable with them at our house. Everything is rock solid, and is even endorsed by my husband, who can be a bit of a stickler. Another biggie: it was on budget. On of our big asks was that we had the roof in place before the snow flew, and sure enough, the roof was up and sealed up the day before the first snowfall of the season (late October or early November). I'd highly recommend LaCoss Carpentry and if there's something more we want to do in the future, Aaron will be on our short list."
