"they replaced the shingles on top of a bay window where there had been an ice dam and added underlayment. The siding on the house is pre-colored Hardie board, while doing the work two of the Hardie boards broke. They replaced the broken boards with two primed but unpainted Hardie boards . They never asked if we had more pre-colored boards in the basement. We did! I asked them to make this right by pulling off the two unpainted panels and putting in the factory painted ones - The asked for an extra 650 which seems like a lot Before the job the communication was great, lots of pictures, but they did not say Hardie board is likely to break - which would would have gotten me to point out where the spares were After the wrong boards went up they were responsive and polite but not helpful The contract that i signed said they were not responsible for painting any siding, so they were technically right but they left me on my own"

"I'll start by saying. I don't usually write reviews but my experience with Karales Home improvement was very positive. Get ready for a long one. Like many others, I utilized Home Adviser to look for Roofing specialists. I met with Mike Karales the same day as our initial phone conversation. He arrived, mask on, ready work with me. He took the time to understand my needs and provided me a very fair quote on the spot. He also explained the whole process to ensure I understood what he was offering. Mike worked with me on our scheduling needs. All of the materials arrived the morning of the work but it ended raining out that day so things were pushed to the next morning. The next day, the dumpster was dropped off, Mike and his trusted crew , some with him for over 17 years, arrived first thing in the morning. They waved hi and got to work immediately. Mike went over again, what to expect, etc. and his team started tarping all around the house, prepping the tools, 30 minutes later they get to work. 2 or 3 on the roof, all with specific roles. another couple of guys cleaning around the house and sweeping throughout the job. The team worked like a well oiled machine and I don't even think they took a break. The whole job was completed by Noon. The tarp catching all of the debris, the constant cleaning and sweeping, the magnetic device to further find any nails that may have fallen astray. I literally walked around my house looking for nails or an old shingle or anything really and not one thing out of place, not one nail, nothing! They left the jobsite cleaner than when they arrived. One word. Meticulous! Mike came by to inspect and ensure everything was done properly and that I was happy. From A to Z, short of writing a check, I didn't have to lift a finger or worry. Permits, dumpster, installation, cleanup they took care of it all. The Karales team was experienced, efficient, hard working and meticulous. They are Just straight out insanely good at what they do. Hats off to these guys. In by 8am gone by noon. You wouldn't have known they showed up and replaced the roof. My neighbor left for work prior to their arrival and came back home for lunch. I told them i had a new roof done just this morning and they couldn't believe it. Insane!, Good Job Mike Karales and Team."

"Hired Hennelly & Son to remove and replace roofs on house and detached garage. Also had some small repairs, gutter cleaning and minor gutter repair work done. Joe Jr. handled the job with his crew of 10 in one day. They arrived as advertised at 7AM and completed the job by 4:45PM. It was obvious that they all knew what they were doing and that they worked well together. Everyone in the crew was friendly and polite. They were careful to not damage any part of the property and their cleanup after the job was done was excellent. I have only good things to say about young Joe and his crew. I enthusiastically recommend Hennelly & Son for any and all roofing and gutter jobs."

"I can't say enough great things about this company. James, the project manager, came on time with a large packet of brochures in full color and detailed information about each portion of product used to complete the replacement of asphalt singles on the roof of our home. He patiently and professionally explained every step of the work to be done, answering questions as we moved through this process. when finished he took measurements and gave me a very reasonable quote on the cost of the project. A few days later after accepting the quote, a very friendly lady from the company's office called to make arrangements to do the job. When the time came, the roofing materials arrived the day before. The dumpster and the company owner along with his crew were here on time the next morning to do the job. It was a very cold and extremely windy morning but they went right to work. The weather conditions were very unpleasant but didn't seem to hinder them in accomplishing their task. They did everything mentioned in the contract including a good cleanup up the premises. They used all CertainTeed roofing materials and James had suggested the type and color of the shingles used on the roof. When completed the new shingles so dramatically enhanced the appearance off our home, we were completely overwhelmed. "Project: Replace an Asphalt Shingle Roof My roof was over 30 years old so I went about obtaining 7 estimates from A+ rated companies. Waterman Building & Remodeling was not the lowest, but Andy Cannon, the rep, did an extraordinary job. He arrived on time, performed a thorough and professional examination of the roof, and gave me a confident explanation (not overkill like a few and not too little like some others) without trying to offer "special deals" for signing immediately or doing the company's advertising for a few weeks. He even suggested that I wait until spring, when the weather is warmer, to do the job to insure that the adhesive would seal properly, but we have been having a pretty warm winter and I wanted it done ahead of any future storms. Kelley in the office was able to schedule me within a week of my signing the contract. I liked that the job could be accomplished in one day and the foreman brought his own dumpster on wheels that did not have to be parked for days in my driveway. It was removed as soon as the crew completed their work. I liked that the crew arrived promptly when they said they would and included a woman. There was a mutual sense of trust in that they only asked for a $200 deposit (to cover the permit cost) and sent the invoice (which was for only $550 above the original estimate once they found they had to replace 8 rotten boards and some aluminum) to be paid only after the job was completed. They removed antiquated vent caps and installed newer, more aesthetic venting and they were able to remove and reattach my retractable deck awning. The roof color is beautiful and the Owens Corning Asphalt shingles are guaranteed for 50 years. Most important, the sign of an excellent company is when they go above and beyond: during the banging on the top of the roof, my wobbly glass kitchen light fixture fell and shattered. Andy came with me to Home Depot to help me select a new fixture, which he paid for and installed and then he also tightened the doors on a couple of my kitchen cabinets and fixed the hinge on my storm door! As a 67-yr-old widow, this was much appreciated. I can see how this company earned its Platinum Preferred rating."
