"Replaced three courses of deteriorating CMU, while supporting the weight of the heavy concrete roof. The new CMU were reinforced with rebar and the cores filled with mortar."

"It went great, Gabe and his team were affordable and willing to work with us on cost. They arrived promptly when they said they would and were very responsive to us. Gabe constantly checked in with us to make sure we were happy with the service. They added missing shingles and did other little things to improve the house without us asking them to do so or quoting it. When the job was complete it was very well done and we were very satisfied. We would recommend Gabe and his team to anyone looking to have their home painted."

"I've known Ronney for a couple of years now and he is absolutely wonderful to work with. He will project manage everything and is very flexible with the types of services he can provide. For example, I needed a second thermostat installed upstairs which required HVAC expertise, electrical wires to be run a long way and then patch and painting for the walls and he handled all of those parts for me at a reasonable price. He's also done numerous other jobs (that were less complex) for me that were great as well."

"Marcio and team did a phenomenal job. They had great attention to detail and completely transformed the exterior of our house. They were incredibly easy to work with, very reasonably priced, and responsive to all of our requests. The crew was very clean and ensured the site was treated very carefully all day. Marcio and crew were also very friendly and were happy to have my young kids observe their work. So very glad we chose Souza Painting. They will be my first call for projects going forward!"

"They didn't want to give any retribution. They were terrible. They were very sloppy. You had to keep after them to tell them to clean up. They over sprayed paint on my roof. It's still there. The paint job was good. They were just not very neat about it."

"I bought a really nice regency gas fireplace from South Shore Fireplace and couldn't have been happier with the way they treated me and completed the installation. They were the most attentive and considerate companies I approached which is why I went with them. We couldn't get the time of day from other fireplace stores. These guys were right on the ball from the start. Spent a lot of time going over the different stoves and options that go with them all. The installation was scheduled and went very well. Installers were very thorough and clean. This was a complete installation, needed the chimney as well as the stove. Everything was done perfectly and I couldn't be happier. Recently, the stove I picked had a recall and I was informed and updated by Scott as soon as he had news. This actually went on for a couple of months but Scott would contact me every couple of weeks and let me know what was going on. When the replacement part came in, they scheduled the work IMMEDIATELY and I met Jon, one of the senior techs and installers. Jon was on time, meticulous and thorough. Very clean and organized as you would expect a master craftsman to be. The repair went very well and made my stove run better than ever before. When your happy with a job someone does for you, you hardly ever write a review but something turns sour, people can't write one quick enough. When I need something done, I go online and read all the awful reviews of probably great companies so I do not hire them. This review is for all of you that are like me and come here to get the low down on a business. Do not hesitate to go with South Shore Fireplace. It is very hard to find craftsman who really care about what they do and also so nice to deal with. South Shore Fireplace will be my go to guys for the rest of my life. Love you guys - job well done and sincere thank you for your continued support throughout the years."
