"I got a few estimates for raising/supporting concrete steps/stoop which was sinking and pulling away from the house. John Coil's suggestion was polyjacking (and that was way under the estimates for other types of work suggested). Very glad I went with Heartland - Cory Mundell was punctual and discussed some possible concerns about the job with me before getting to work. The job turned out even better than expected and looks great. Couldn't be happier and very pleased with the value. And Heartland is a KCUR supporter - always a plus. :)"

"Chad was extremely responsive and reliable all through the process, from the initial bid through the close-out meeting. He is also extremely pleasant, personable and easy to work with. He fully explained all the options, and the pros and cons of each. He kept me apprised of any issues along the way (getting several layers of glue off of the kitchen floor - some had been there 50 years - and unexpected unevenness of the concrete) that would cause delays and possible imperfections in the result. Those issues caused him to work much harder and longer than anticipated; yet he did not increase the cost or try to take any shortcuts. The results are fabulous! They exceed my expectations. I am more than pleased and would recommend the company him and his brother own for any and all concrete work. I literally could not be happier."

FAQs for concrete floor coating apply projects in Oak Grove, MO

Epoxy flooring is a two-part coating made from synthetic resins and a hardener that bonds to concrete to create a continuous, durable surface. Once cured, the coating resists impacts, moisture, and most household chemicals, making it a practical choice for garages, basements, and workshops. It also creates a uniform, easy-to-clean finish that looks more polished than bare concrete without requiring ongoing waxes or sealers.

With proper care and maintenance, solvent-based and solid residential epoxy flooring can last 10 to 20 years, while water-based epoxy flooring lasts three to five years. Water-based epoxy is less durable, making it more susceptible to regular wear and tear. Commercial epoxy concrete flooring that experiences heavy foot traffic may only last two to three years.

Maintaining epoxy garage floors is relatively easy. You can sweep up dirt and debris with a broom, dustpan, or vacuum cleaner, then use a mild cleaning solution intended for epoxy floors to scrub away stains. Avoid using soap-based or chemical cleaners. Mopping an epoxy garage floor regularly with warm water can do the trick.
