"Morgan Cabinet Restylers (the kitchen division) earned every bit of their A+ rating. Laure was a great salesperson, not pushy, answered all our questions. Brent was great. He took the measurements and was a great liaison through the rest of the process. Carlos did fantastic work removing the old cabinets, installing the new ones, and making adjustments as we requested. The cabinets look gorgeous and function very well and the company came out when needed to make adjustments. Being our first kitchen remodel, we made one mistake, which is not painting the walls between cabinet removal and install; would highly recommend it to avoid tedious painting after install."

"They were very professional. They came in matched my color to the cabinets perfectly. If you want a big project that involves your kitchen cabinets refacing I highly recommend The Home Depot. I never went to the store everything was done in my house. Great Job."

"This was the most exceptional experience that we could ever have had! We had a vision for the conversion of our home that included the replacement of all finishes throughout, and it was embraced, improved upon, and executed to absolute perfection by Frank! I have been in the commercial construction industry for many years and Frank is the most conscientious, particular, detail oriented and caring person that we have ever worked with. From the custom cabinets, to the new flooring and bathrooms, ship lap and trim work, painting, etc..., it is all perfection and exactly what we envisioned. We did not find a single item that needed adjustment or was not perfect. Do not hesitate to call Son of a Carpenter now and start your project. You will be impressed as we were. Thank you Frank and team for everything you did to make this our dream home! We are ecstatically pleased!!!"

"We had our kitchen and bathroom cabinets refaced by Carlton at The Kitchen Medic. We had a wonderful experience and would gladly recommend this company to anyone. First, the price was very reasonable. We contacted about 3 other companies before finding the Kitchen Medic and they were all more expensive, one was actually $10k more (ahem, you know who you are Home Depot). If you do your research and get quotes from other licensed contractors, you will find that The Kitchen Medic has the most reasonable prices. Second, the quality was great. We had many options to choose from and went with beautiful white antique style doors. Carlton will show you all the bells and whistles, but he is great at listening and narrowing down your picks. When the cabinet doors arrived, a few were slightly bent from the shipment. To be honest, we wouldn't have noticed but Carlton wouldn't install a less than perfect product. He ordered new doors and came back to install them. I find that very honest and I'm grateful for his attention to detail. Finally, the ease of service. The other contractors we dealt with before The Kitchen Medic wouldn't give us a price estimate without first coming over and making us pick out every detail. It always took about an hour of our time and then the price was outrageous. Rather than operate this way, Carlton asked for pictures of our kitchen and then gave us a rough quote. That way he wasn't wasting our time or his, and by the way the quote was almost spot on. Carlton is an absolute professional who does a great job for a great price. I would use The Kitchen Medic again. <br />"

"This was the easiest remodel experience we have ever encountered. Everything went perfect and we had new granite counters in time for Christmas. Christina is the best! She is very easy to work from start to finish. We would definitely use her again and recommend her to everyone. <br />"

"We recently had the pleasure of working with A Plus Granite & Marble Works Inc. in Deland, Florida, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the results! From start to finish, the team displayed exceptional craftsmanship and professionalism. They truly delivered on their promise of beautiful work. The Quartz pieces they installed are stunning and have completely transformed our space. One thing that stood out was their attention to detail in cleaning up after the job was done. They made sure our property was protected throughout the entire process, leaving everything spotless when they were finished. A special shoutout to Rocky for his incredible vision and guidance. His expertise made all the difference in choosing the right materials and design. We are beyond satisfied with the final product and would highly recommend A Plus Granite & Marble Works Inc. to anyone looking for top-notch service and quality."

"Fantastic work. Cabinets were restored to brand new condition without the cost of installing the entire cabinet. Re-facing was half the price. I would highly recommend them."

FAQs for cabinets reface projects in Oak Hill, FL

Absolutely. Refacing returns 65% to 80% of your investment at resale, and you get an updated kitchen right now. Because you’re not paying for new boxes or demo work, the price lands well below complete replacement but still delivers a fresh, custom look that buyers—and you—notice every time you walk in.

To trim costs, start by pricing a high-quality paint or gel stain instead of full refacing—stain alone can be one-third the price of full refacing. Keep existing hinges and pulls if they’re in good shape, and shop sales for sandpaper, primer, and sealer. The sweat equity is real, but so are the savings, and a careful DIY job can still leave your cabinets looking sharp for years to come.

A professional crew needs only three to five days to reface a standard kitchen, although a larger layout or intricate door style may add one to two days. Compare that with the several weeks a full cabinet swap can drag on. In other words, you get your space back fast, often before the paint on the new doors is even fully cured.

Yes, you can replace just the cabinet doors and drawer fronts without covering the cabinet boxes. Cabinet refacing involves installing new doors and drawer fronts while applying veneers to existing cabinet boxes. If you’re satisfied with the condition of your cabinets, swapping doors and drawer fronts reduces labor and materials, saving you time and cost. Always consult a professional to confirm compatibility and ensure a seamless, high-quality finish.

Most cabinet refacing projects do not require removing countertops because professionals can access doors and drawers around existing surfaces. However, if your countertop overhang prevents full access to the cabinet boxes, contractors may need to lift the countertop to install veneers properly temporarily. Discuss this with your refacing specialist during the on-site estimate so you know exactly what the project entails.
