"I got 5 estimates and National Home Improvements was the only company that was certified by James Hardie install, it's Hardie Fiber Cement siding and trim. They removed my old wood siding, and installed the new siding and trim. My house is approximately 2700 sq ft. They installed Color Plus Soffit James Hardie Fiber Cement siding on all eaves of the house. I am able to recommend National Home Improvements without reservation! I have had a lot of work done over the 5 years I have owned my home, and National Home Improvements provided excellent work..! They were easy to work with, very responsive, and didn't waste time. "I hired Paragon a year and a half ago in 2016 to remodel a small galley kitchen and bathroom in a one bedroom in Manhattan. Overall, I thought they did a really nice job and would also have rated them a B+ (like one other rater had suggested) had this rating been available. I enjoyed working with Paul B, and Kyle, and the rest of the crew. They were professional, hard working, and a bunch of good guys. I think their labor pricing was reasonable based on my other comparisons. While I haven't done any remodeling before, I assume there is always some hiccups along the way. Process-wise, I believe there could have been slightly more communication/written organization rather than relying on verbal (e.g., the initial kitchen back splash was tiled staggered though I had asked for it to be stacked. This was easily corrected but it would have brought more comfort had everything been in writing). I also felt the plumber could have been a bit more professional. I had bought a shower system that didn't seem terribly complicated to me but he didn't seem to understand how the system worked, scaring me to thinking that I ordered the wrong parts. Eventually he got it but I was surprised that he wasn't familiar with it. The toilet also wasn't set properly initially on the wax ring so there was some leaking initially with the toilet. That said, they were great at coming back and resetting and fixing the issue per their guarantee. I tend to be a picky customer in all aspects of my life. My bar is pretty high so i did ask them to redo some of the tiling in the bathroom as it wasn't as smooth as I had expected. Again, they did reset it and generally had a good attitude about it. All in all, I liked the folks at Paragon, and appreciated Tom letting me pick the specific material I wanted for the project. I thought the pricing was reasonable, the crew worked hard, and they were fairly responsive to my high bar. And 1+ years out, the renovation is still good with no signs of any problems."

"We needed a new roof in days not weeks and we were getting quoted sky high prices. Seci Construction not only came in with the lowest bid from a master elite roofer but they set us up to start work in days not weeks. When it was raining heavily on the day we picked, Seci Construction came in on the next day, a Sunday, to get the work done. When it started to drizzle on Sunday, they kept putting on the roofing through the rain. Cesi Construction will tell you to be there when they do the work and they are right. Once the shingles came up, Cesi Construction offered to replace all of our 3/8" panels with 1/2" panels. This would have doubled the price of the job, so we checked the state code and found that 3/8" was good enough, so we said to stick with what we had, and there was no argument. Cesi Construction worked two days, started on a Sunday, worked through the rain, and got us a brand new beautiful roof."
