"My husband and I hired Jose and his team to build a uniquely styled detached 600 square foot garage in the spring of 2018 and then in the winter of 2019, Jose and his team returned and completely renovated the outside of our house (see above for details). In addition, they renovated a 600 sq. foot roughed in back two rooms of our house with an extension. For both projects, we were extremely pleased with the quality of the work and the final outcome. Both projects were somewhat complicated and challenging in both design and permit requirements, but in each case, Jose and his team, with great capability overcame all obstacles and produced the outcome we wanted. His team was professional, on time, focused, and very friendly. Their craftmanship was exceptional. They were creative and talented artists. Nothing was done in a sloppy manner. It was evident to me that they took great pride in their work. As an extra bonus, at the end of each day, they cleaned up the work area. The contractor Jose was extraordinary in every possible way. He was extremely personable, answered all of our questions with patience, and produced solutions to the questions and ideas that we had. We really appreciated the guidance and suggestions he provided. For example, first he suggested in-ceiling lighting and then smaller lights than we originally had in mind. Both suggestions created a spectacular look! His team also rebuilt our out-dated and rotting round front porch pillars into large square pillars from scratch. They were not pre-fab. They raised our back room roof 5 inches and had to dig under the current slab and add concrete along the entire base next to the pilings that were already there. They came up with a creative way to do this given that there was no room to insert the cement truck pipe. He also arranged with our power company to come and turn off our electricity while they replaced the siding on the side with the power lines. Jose and his team did many extras for us, some asked for by us and some that Jose thought of himself. Home renovations are normally stressful but honestly, both our garage and exterior/backroom renovations were an enjoyable and a mostly stress-free experience. Our next plan is to have Jose and his team renovate the inside of our house which will include wall removals, new bathrooms, new kitchen, flooring, wall repair/painting and many smaller changes. One more thing to add: Jose’s pricing was fair and reasonable. We highly recommend Munoz Construction company. I have no doubt that you will be pleased."

"This was definitely a 5 star operation from the initial discussions to the finishing touches! For a major renovation and upgrade to our master bathroom we reviewed potential contractors and their customer comments. VKB stood out. Our VKB designer Sean clearly has artistic talent and lots of design experience. He patiently worked with us, showing us 3D design options as we considered alternative configurations and materials. When we were satisfied with the design, Sean transitioned us smoothly to the build phase, introducing Jason as our project manager and Walter as our crew chief. Sean personally familiarized Jason with the project, inviting us to share our thoughts and any concerns. During the renovation, Walter and his crew would carefully isolate the MBR work from the rest of the house, sealing off the room and path to the front door with plastic barriers and floor coverings every morning and remove them every evening. Everyone was polite and sensitive to our living space. Jason was responsive to our wishes to refine several design aspects as the work proceeded, and Walter and his crew smoothly made the alterations. After the main construction was completed Jason remained very attentive to our ‘punch list’ of remaining details and our questions until all had been resolved. Walter ensured very high-quality work down to the finest detail. All the work from design to completion was well within the timeframe we had hoped. In the end, we have a beautiful MBR well beyond our original expectations!"

"The All Renovations team, led by Tony, did a fantastic job. The first two days had 4 people working to dismantle my bathroom, and then for the days of cutting tile, had 2 people at all times. They worked quickly, and hard, from 9am till sometimes 7pm. Master bath was done in 9 working days. This company handles labor and construction materials, while the client handle purchasing of most renovation materials like the tile, vanity, fixtures, tub, and toilet. For those who want to have direct control over the materials, and the cost, this is the way to go. I was onsite each day, and would give some direction (which they always closely followed) like how I wanted the tiles, which grout goes with which tiles, and that I wanted an additional light switch because I added a chandelier to the room. I've already decided to have the team back to construct a half bath."

They were very responsive, checked in to see if we had questions, and their process for allowing customers to monitor jobs seemed top-notch. Mike and Simone were both wonderful. Nancy provided a documented estimate and breakdown cost of our project. Nancy & Ruben were amazing in attention scheduling, detailed work and professionalism throughout our renovation. Ruben removed old toilet, vanity, lights and mirror. His team, painted our ceiling, walls, door and wall border; drywalling to fix lightbox; then installed and corrected new lighting alignment to center with vanity and mirror; and toilet. Excellent work ethic and clean. Always checking in to make sure things were where we wanted positioned in the bathroom. We will definitely use Ruben & team again for home improvements. "The best contractor we have had in 15 years of living here! Our 53yr old house is in the Fort Hunt / Waynewood area and we have had a lot of renovations done. Sam took care to ensure this project was done right. We had the main bathroom tub replaced, walls retiled and faucets installed. This was a 2nd update to our bathroom and we wanted to keep the tile floor and sink. Sam was able to install the new tub while protecting the floor tile not being replaced. All the work was done within the time & price promised and it looks great! We have/will recommend him to anyone needing quality home repairs done - at a very fair price. We wish we had found him for earlier projects and will absolutely hire him again!!"

"Devin Nasvaderani and his crew at Marvel Homes transformed a 1950s-era galley kitchen into an inviting and open kitchen/dining room. The project had many parts and space was limited, but it was finished on time and on budget thanks to the crew's competence, creativity and attention to detail. Devin managed to conceal a waste water pipe against a wall with some judicious cutting of a cabinet and tweaking of the tile back splash, he turned a living room closet on the other side of a kitchen wall into a pantry, and rerouted air vents that had  been inside the wall that separated the kitchen from the dining room. He worked with vendors including Cabinet Discounters, ABW appliances, Mosaic Tile and ABKA Marble & Granite to ensure the project stayed on track. And he dealt swiftly with glitches, replacing a dinged sink and a scratched drawer front.. A job well done."
